One thing which is a little worrying, every first team member who is available was invovled appart from Alex?? Maybe the rumours are true and he may be on his way out?

I dont think he'll leave but what do i know?

Hopefully AVB goes for Guarin and Moutinho over a 40m Modric.

Its abit strange that he was the only available first team player not involed.

Re: Chelsea discussion

Why shouldn't Chelsea sign Modric? If he's as good as Spurs say he must be worth the money. If he isn't, why would Chelsea be signing him in the first place.
Anyone know what happened with Lukaku, one day he was about to sign and now nothing's happening. Is he coming to Chelsea or not?

The whole point. Modric is under contract for another 5 years, Spurs don't have to sell therefore they can put the price up as high as they want since they know that we have the money and it's how we tend to do business unfortunately...

The RSC Anderlecht manager resigned hope of keeping him a couple of days ago, I'll get the quote in a minute. A lot of conflicting information going about though.

He is a fantastic player but i think Spurs's valuation of him is way too high. The Lukaku story went quiet as soon as Boas came in so im not sure he wants Lukaku.

Nothing to do with valuation, they dont want to sell him

Chelsea are in contact with Scott Parkers agent as they begin preliminary over bringing back the Ex Chelsea midfield.

This story is going to grow, think there is alot of truth to it from solid sources and all are saying that Chelsea are extremely keen in re signing him.

Brilliant player Scotty Parker, one of my favourite midfielders in the Premier League would love to see him back.

Fee would be 8-8.7 million pounds somewhere in that region, top player.

Just noticed the comments on Lukaku:

Didn't entirely go quiet the Anderlecht president, ever vocal, put out a statement 2-3 days ago saying the player wants the move the only sticking point was the fee (Which is nowhere near 20 million pounds), its somewhere between 8-12 million and the deal was in place pre Boas for De Bruyne to be signed and loaned to Anderlecht but as Genk have stopped that it looks like plain old cash for Romelu, it will either go one of two ways at the minute. Chelsea up their bid, or they don't because Lukaku's personal terms will not be an issue. Personally, I think they are waiting on AVB assessing Drogba because his contracts up soon and he wants 3 years and Chelsea will offer him +1 at an absolute push that's what the Lukaku deal hinges on in my eyes.

Lukaku will be a Chelsea player before the 2013/14 season, they have complete and utter first option/priority x100 of any other club on him its unbelievable.

If Scott Parker leaves West ham for Chelsea my mate wont be happy as me and my mate met Parker outside upton park on friday just before he traveled to switzerland with the side and my mate asked him willl you be staying at upton park and Parker said sure haha. Had a picture with Scott and also had a t-shirt on saying im with **** head which I forgot about when taking the picture and Scott didnt realise :P

the whole point is to put a ridiculous price that basically says "do one"

Well you could see it that way or you could see it as a we value him higher cumon Chelsea up it.

It welcome Scotty back at the Bridge, he is a much better player than he was when he left without a doubt.

his value has always been abut 40m. Redknapp has never wanted to sell him. Levy is trying to make a point. chelsea feel they must win this and have tunnelled in on him. United took one look and decided at that price lets go back to Sneijder

That's my worry and has been since Modric interest became clear, Roman has had tunnel vision before and wasted a window on chasing one player rather than strengthening all the areas.

Maybe its no tunelled, maybe he is the man they want and no-one else.

Really don't want Parker.. Does he make up one of the 3 'key players' were buying this season?

I can see him in a midfield 3 with Lampard and Ramires. That will do very nicely.
No doubt hes a great player but i just don't want another 30/31 year old.. Plus we need a creative mid, why not play Mikel as Essiens replacement?

In the big games for WHUFC last season Parker stepped it up, it was incredible I mean Vs Chelsea and that amazing volley lob and then the goal/performance Vs Liverpool was absolutely World Class.

Would not fear Scotty Parker playing midfield vs Man United for example, the guy has at least 2 years left in him top class player.

We still need abit of expirience and Parker can score goals, make goals and defend very well indeed. Basicly he will be doing what Mikel can do plus 2 other things he cant do.
