He might be a top player but in a different league thats my point. Parker is a safe bet and proberly the cheeper option. Its also about what a certain manager/club wants.
Far too much is made out of players being from separate leagues. Do you just want teams to trade within England?

so what if he is a top player in a different league? Parker plays in the same league and didnt cut with you. Vidal is more than capable of making the jump, can play at any tempo (chile play entirely differently to leverkusen, excels at both). Has the complete package to excel in the Prem. 10m for a 31 year old or 17m for a 24 year old?

No, and he did far far better than Cole.
I would prefer signing from abroad 9/10 because it normally means it will improve the league rather than signing from within and possibly weakening it.
But that 'logic' aside Parker would be fantastic, big games last season when he was fit and playing he was absolutely phenomenal especially vs LFC and CFC.
Since when do Chelsea need experience? You've got one of the oldest squads in the league and you're crying out for fresh, non injury-prone legs - not a 30 year old (31 by the end of the year) who shone through in a bollocks side.
Of course he's a good player, but since when has money been an issue for Chelsea? It's what? About £5-7m between the two valuations of Parker and Vidal? A player who's played in Europe, and who came 2nd in his league vs a player who got relegated and has never played in Europe. Odd signing if it goes through IMO. Especially from Parker's POV - god knows why he wants to go back to Chelsea after his last stint there...
