the only points I saw being laid out was that Chelsea was the villain and we needed to sort ourselves out... maybe I did not bother to go through all the pages on the Modric Thread, mind filling me in then?
1) Ethically you do need to shape, the paltry and public bids were a deliberate attempt to unsettle him.
2) Chelsea seem to feel Levy should rollver because Modric wants a transfer. But what Modric wants is entirely irrelevant. If he though abut leaving he shouldn't have signed a 6 year contract last may, or had an escape clause put in
3) highly unlikely this "gentleman's agreement ever existed, levy is one of the shrewdest businessman out there, would have made that go in writing, and 22M isn't a good offer
4) Levy is not a "****" for not wanting to sell a top class key player on a 6 year contract at a club who dont need to or want to sell.
media will go into a frenzy after Copa America'... so many players being speculated about right from Neymar, Falcao, Sanchez, Vidal etc.
I can certainly see Chelsea appearing more and more i the transfer rumours column
One of the reason AVB's signing went the way it did is becuase they wanted him to sign an agreement not to sign the players, so i very much doubt they would like him raiding the club
De Bruyne is 100 pct back to Genk on loan and Courtois wise it's unclear,
They wanted to use him (De Bruyne) in a Lukaku deal but Genk basically said; we are not selling him to you and letting you send him out on loan to another club in Belgium so the only option Chelsea has is loan him back to Genk or keep him in the Reserves/Youth Team. Every year Chelsea have made a big money splash on an Eastern European from Kalas to Lalkovic to Delac to Matic to Stoch...etc etc. I have no idea really who it will be this year, could be Kadlec but it could be Vsraljko I have no idea.

yeah well when the media frenzy was going on, Porto came out and said that their players will only be sold to CFC if their release clauses were met, I am pretty sure Porto won't mind either way as long as we pay the release clauses tbh
definitely dont want to continue this over VM, there is nothing more to be said about Modric or Chelsea

This window is a seller's market. Anderlecht know what kind of a player they have, they see no reason to let him go cheaply

exactly and I do not think we should pay 20m for him... we have more important areas to spend that kind of money on and better players imo
He's still only young, I'd rather he continued his development at Anderlecht until he reaches a level where he wouldn't just be a benchwarmer.
Any news on Drogba by the way?
last I heard he was going to be offered a new contract so he could play out the twilight of his best years at Chelsea before winding down his career in Dubair or France or wherever..... I dont want him to go, he is one of the best players we have ever had
He is thinking more than 50mill without a doubt and he can **** right off. Hope we really turn our attension to the likes of Moutinho or Parker now.

If Vitesse was Roman's club, believe me he'd get a lot of appearances...
IMO Delač will be a great goalkeeper in the future, and maybe a decent substitute for Čech right now (When Cech is tired / Cup Games / etc etc)
I agree with you that he's one of the best players we've had but maybe we should be thinking about cashing in on him? He didn't have the best of seasons and he's getting on a bit. I reckon we should hold onto him for this season then look to see what money we can get for him next season, if it's not worth it then we could just hold onto him I guess, as long as he's not on stupid wages. How many years has he got left on his contract?

One thing which is a little worrying, every first team member who is available was invovled appart from Alex?? Maybe the rumours are true and he may be on his way out?
