You starting to get the same feeling as me?

Broken records can't be heard if people are deaf to the sounds they are making

Modric saga=Becoming the CF/CT standard of ''I don't want to hear about it anymore''

yeah pretty much.

Any other word on chelsea targets?

Can't predict Roman at all,
I know De Bruyne/Courtois deal is 90 pct tied up just working out the technicalities of the fee/Whether Courtois goes back on loan to Genk or not.

I really hope he ditches this pursuit of Modric because he needs an Essien replacement and a new CM to play a deep role alongside Lampard AND Chelsea need two new wingers in my opinion. Lukaku deal still has life in it, Moutinho/Guarin are sly targets I can see AVB going for and Valencian papers are insistent that CFC have been talking to Juan Matas dad (Dad/Agent) over a transfer.

Arturo Vidal would easily replace Essiens role in my opinion, and would be available for a reasonable price of maximum 17 million euros and no one has firmly put down a concrete deal that would blow Chelsea out the park. I don't know what Chelsea scouts do all day but after Coulibaly has had the U-17 world cup he has had Siena are saying they have received 5 bids of 1.8 million euros for him and 2 of those clubs are English...

But I would not even dare to predict Roman, Gourlay will probably make the annual 3-5 million pound purchase of an Eastern European youngster but that aside I have got nothing really.

Why are ytou looking at young goalkeepers? What happened to Matej Delac?

roman does what hi wants, again that thing with the broken record ... over and over again. predicting roman's wishes and intentions is foolish to say the least.

Personally i would abandon Modric for Moutinho, though Porto will be just as unhappy with AVB raiding the club. Vidal is a great shout, though you mean Artur, not Juan

Sorry, couldn't resist. :P

Couldn't even get a game for Vittesse, plus from what I've seen from Courtois he looks a sensational prospect even AM president came out and said they wanted him to replace DDG but Chelsea have a first option agreement with Genk.

But that's the key question...

What happened to Matej Delac?

Wish I knew.

Looked set in stone that he would take over from Cech when the time came, he was given a 5 year contract with a delay clause which meant it commenced in January 2011, before hand he remained at his old club with Chelsea paying his wages.

^Yeah, Munich agreed a deal BUT if you remember they 'stole' the Leverkusen coach mid season and appointed him for this season, BL director was not happy at all so just said to Bayern and Rummenigge ''I don't care what you offer none of our players will be moving to you''. Previous quotes on Vidal I've posted (somewhere), if I remember correctly the BL president said Vidal would be sold and they are in talks with clubs, we will be moving to Italy/England I think the comment was.

How do you know?

as Jack Fulham mentioned, we did not force Modric, in the worst of circumstances we may have told his agent to 'advise' him and that is not against rules however unethical it may be but if we did that then it just shows how badly he wants to join us... either way I maintain that I doubt we made any contact with him at all and his interview etc. was because he wants to leave Spurs and join us, perfectly logical

Meh at least it definitely wasnt Juan :P only thing i've heard about him is that they will not sell him to bayern

or to any club either. Holzhauser ( their president i believe) said not long time ago, that they have no intention of selling their best players, i assume including Vidal.

well done on missing the point that was clearly laid out abut a dozen times by everyone.

he wont be fully fit till april

the only points I saw being laid out was that Chelsea was the villain and we needed to sort ourselves out... maybe I did not bother to go through all the pages on the Modric Thread, mind filling me in then? :)

u sure about tthat? i heard different.

Heres his quote from July 2nd:

"If we will sell him it will be only to a foreign club. If we will receive the right offer he will leave, but for the moment he remains a Bayer player. I have received no offers".

From their Director Rudi Voeller

He is on the market, player outgrew the club and they respect he wants to move on...

Anywhere's a possibility/been linked from Udinese/Inter Milan to Chelsea/United

Vidal quote from a few days ago:

"Sanchez and I we are thinking only about our national team. After the Copa America we will make the choices needed.''

Porto said that as long as CFC met the release clauses, they will not have any objections or be unhappy about players leaving

Personally we can get Moutinho/Guarin both for 35m and if they can reproduce the same form for us as they did with Porto, ******* bargains right there

In all honeslty I feel we should ditch this pursuit of Modric, I say offer 30m and if Spurs still do not want to sell then we get out of this race, I am doing spending exorbirant prices on one player with the FFP coming up

hm.. well i dont mind him coming then.

out of interest if De Bruyne signs for us, will he be moving back on loan to Genk or staying with us?
