Great free-kick by Mata, and a brilliant ball by Sturridge, nice finish from Terry :)
 
Offside trap with Ivanovic is suicide, the sooner Luiz comes back in at CB the better. Iva is a great player but he's not a CB I would trust to play the offside trap.
 
Meireles is looking good today, looking good in the link-up play and had a great shot just then well saved!
 
Considering how tightly packed that midfield is, we're doing a sterling job with our movement and passing.
 
Should have been red for Bardsley then, although he did seem genuinely sorry after.
 
How is Bardsley still on the field? He ****** stamped on him!
 
Not entirely sure he meant that, looked like he was trying to step over Mata.
 
Hoping that it's 'Torres time' pretty soon, surely around 60 min mark he'll come on.

I know what you mean, but Iva isn't that slow, between Luiz and Terry for pace. And Iva is our best defender IMO - not by a long way though, so I'd probably go for Iva - Luiz - Terry - Cole. Harsh on Bosingwa though because he's been very good. I doubt it will be what I think it should be though because AVB likes attacking full backs, most likely the defence will be rotated.

AMAZING Studge! Wasn't that good in first half other than the assist, but that was special.

Meireles made 45 passes in first half. Not bad.
 
Beautiful lil goal from Sturridge, Meireles ball through was fantastic as well! Very promising times.
 
It's not his pace that worries me it's his agility, awareness and concentration. His acceleration isn't great either but he does have great speed. Sturridge showing Balotelli how it's done, amazing.
 
Unbelievable jeff! What craft by Meireles, and what a touch to get it round the keeper by Sturrers. TAKE a BOW!

Ah, ok fair enough. I know what you mean now, sometimes he does seem to be aware and concentrated, but then other times a ball will go over the top and he loses his concentration and then has to try and catch up with the forwards who are running in behind him.

What?! Torres coming on for Mata? The person who is most likely going to give him the chance to score? Disappointing, but hopefully he'll get a goal without Mata.

I think front three against Leverkusen will be Mata - Torres - Sturridge or Malouda.
