Skybet has Real as favorites, with City closely behind. We are 7/1, as are Liverpool and Juve. Currently it seems we arnt getting him. I also believe that we are better off spending that money on Neymar and promoting Sturridge.

Skybet is ****. Stay away from these bet-*****. Reality is otherwise. Its between Real and Chelsea. City, Liverpool and Juve can only dream about him. cmon LIVERPOOL ARE NOT EVEN in EL... wtf?

cant see him moving to Real Madrid, his club wont sell him and he probably wont go

City have a chance of buying him but they have got enough strikers atm and I can only see the move taking place if Tevez is sold

Liverpool are not in the Europa League or CL and neither are Juventus otherwsie they would have had a chance

So its between us and the great spenders Arsenal :)

Skybet shows Diego Maradona having a long shot chance of becoming a manager of Chelsea, evidence enough

oops my mistake, we definetly need a new right-back tho, Ivanovic is good but thats not his natural position and Bosingwa is a liabilty, although getting Neymar ranks top of our list currently

Yeah we should get van der Wiel or another young RB, but he will be a rotation player so I'm happy to get van der Wiel as long as he doesn't expect to be playing week-in-week-out because Ivanovic deserves a starting spot whether it's RB or CB. But yeah Bosingwa should be the first player to go.

True, but he is 80/1, and pretty much every well known manager is above him (including SAF), clearly not in there for an realistic chance of him being appointed, and most of the names in that list are just for punters to lose their money on.

I mean the only managers that, by the odds, we are likely to see are MVB, Hiddink and AVB. Which is pretty realistic, most likely MVB with Hiddink surporting him in a Director of Football role, part time till his contract with Turkey ends.

Don't hate the betting sites for information, when everyone is purely speculating on rumors that are flying around, the betting sites will have more information because they have better contacts and understanding than most/all of us, if they didn't they would lose lots of money. Therefore they give a good indication what is going on, that isn't being reported.

If you really do doubt them and see Aguero coming to Chelsea, put a bet on it now, 8/1, pretty good money.

I am also not saying he wont come to Chelsea, im just saying, with the current situation as it is, he is unlikely to come. Also the odds just dropped on him joining Real 7/3.

Oh and Neymar is 13/9 to join Chelsea. Brilliant.

aguero will cost 45 million, lukaku 20 million

Agüero's clause is IIRC €45m. Should be ~40m in pounds?

Gil Marín said they'd charge the full taxes of Agüero's clause on Madrid if they were to bid for him - I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but according to a local newspaper it'd mean Madrid have to pay 65m euros, which they will not pay. However, they could bid for Tévez which would prompt City to bid for Agüero.

Also, Kun is good friends with Maxi so he could join Liverpool provided he's persuaded by him and by Kenny's future plans, so I wouldn't rule them out either. I do believe Juve is out of the race, though.

IMO it's between Chelsea, Pool, and of course City.

Kun is good friends with Maxi but I honestly feel Pool wont have CL football next season 2, and I think Kun is moving cos he like Torres craves CL Football and if he moves to Pool, he will actually be moving from a Atletico Madrid a club that is guarnteed Europa League Football next season to Pool where he wont even b playing in the Europa League and their is no guartee Pool will play Europa League next season

However if he moves to City or Chelsea, he is pretty much guarnteed CL Football every season, for those cynics out there, he is atleast going to be guarnteed a European Premiere Competition every season... As I mentioned I doubt Roberto Mancini will sell his top scorer Tevez and they already have Dzeko so I cant see Kun getting regualar football next season

For me in the Striker department my ideal transfers would be:

Out:

Anelka (Old and past his best)

Kalou (Just a idiot generally)

Sturridge (Loan or Transfer, the fella is good but lets face it he is not EL Kun or Neymar)

In:

El Kun ( Would be ******* amazing)

Neymar (Would be ******* amazing)

and we should play a two- striker formation with Neymar playing understudy to Torres and El Kun being rotated with Drogba for 2 seasons by which time El Kun will be at his peak, 25 years old an Drogba will be past his best

MATES, IF WE SIGN KUN, I WILL BE RUNNING NAKED AROuND THE BRIDGE for an hour !

Chelsea have approached Pelligrini regarding the manager vacancy

Blues linked with Pellegrini | Football News | Sky Sports

dont think that will happen at all, Pelligerini has had no success in Roman's holy grail competition

u do know that we have a realistic chance of signing him right lol

My Summer Wish List

So Basically like how people have done on other Team Discussion Threads, I will be writing down my Summer Wish List in this post along with the reasons on why I think these certain players/ staff will be good for the club:

In:

Gregory Van Der Wiel (We need a young RB to play understudy to Ivanovic and this young attacking Dutch Full Back is perfect for me)

Neymar ( This guy is so talented, he would be perfect to act as cover for Torres and learn a lot from our No.9, if we sign him I certainly believe he will be amazing in 5-6 years time)

El Kun ( This guy is perfect to slot in right now into the Chelsea Team and play around Torres, one of the deadliest forwards in Europe and definetly primed for great things)

I already explained how I feel Drogba, Torres, Neymar and El Kun can be used in the same squad and rotated in the previous post

Out:

Anelka
( Past his prime and old)

Bosingwa ( A liability in defence now, not the same since his injury)

Kalou ( PM me if you find a bigger *** than him)

Sturridge ( Feel gutted for him, I really do, relatively talented but not so muchas Neymar or El Kun, lets face it)

So our squad will look something like this next season if all of this is carried out:

GK: Peter Cech/Hilario

LB: Ashley Cole/ PVA

RB: Ivanovic/Van Der Wiel

CB: Terry/Alex/David Luiz/ Bruma

Midfielders:

Lampard/Essien/ Obi Mikel/ Josh M./ Benayoun/ Malouda/ Ramires

Forwards:

El Kun/ Torres/ Drogba/ Neymar

Looks a very strong squad to me

Manager :
Andre-Villas-Boas

Assistant Manager: Zola

Director of Football: Guus Hiddink

Roman please answer my prayers!!!

@Alcaraz I don't see your problem with Kalou - he's a nice guy and a good player.

Anyways another manager apparently on our radar is Leonid Slutsky the CSKA manager.

he is bull, very arrogant and thinks he deserves to play every game... I still remember how he sulked after scoring against Tottenham and refused to celebrate just cos he was left on the bench

I think we should sign:

Asmir Begovic - Cech backup.

Gregory van der Wiel - Ivanovic backup/rotation.

Neymar - Play him against less physical team and let him rip them apart.

Sergio Aguero - Only because he's available.

Who we should sell:

Jose Bosingwa - One word - liability.

Nicolas Anelka - I don't even think he's lost it, I just think he's turned lazy.

Hilario and Ross Turnbull - I don't think we need them. Buy Begovic have a young keeper third - Delac possibly? (Haven't watched him really so can't comment) Let Turnbull get first team football somewhere and maybe Hilario back to Portugal or even retire. I actually quite like them both, but at times they aren't good enough and I just can't see them challenging Cech (or getting anywhere near him) which is why I think Begovic would be good. He isn't better than Cech, but he's a good keeper and I think he would fit in to the team well.

Florent Malouda - Although the stats say he's been good and he's a really nice guy I just feel he's lost something this year. And I know before last season he didn't seem good I feel that's because he was taking time to adjust, but this year he's trying things and they're just not working because he's decreased as a footballer.

You mean the way Drogba has celebrated in the past when he comes off the bench? Which coincidentally he did against Spurs just like Kalou in the 1-1 draw.

Kalou deserved to play against Tottenham and had a right to be frustrated - not saying he should have celebrated like that, but still.

I STILL REMEMBER THAT TOO! Kalou has scored for us very important goals coming in from the bench, but his recent reactions make me wanna kill him and **** on him after that. So, Kalou must find another challenge.. I certainly hope hes the one who is going to leave, not Didi.

I suppose one can forgive Drogba cos we know that compared to Kalou, Drogba is really much better and I cant see any place for Kalou if Neymar and El Kun come.
