No progress? City finished 3rd this season and had the same amount of points as Chelsea and have a gurrenteed spot in the Champions League. To say there is no progress from moving from Atletico to City is pretty stupid.

stats dont tell you very important things, like whether the shot was a clear cut chance or a feeble long-range effort just to test the goalkeeper out so its very unfair to make decisions based on stats


btw I dont like Kalou and his personality, its not just this season but other incidents over various seasons as well, he is a good player no doubt about that but if we had to sell a player to make space for El Kun or Neymar, I'd put Kalou at the top of the list beyond Drogba

I would rather sell Kalou than Drogba aswell because Drogba contributes more to the team in assists and in build up play and is generally a better player, but I think the treatment that Kalou gets from the fans is unfair and I'm pretty sure that with Drogba having 85 more shots than Kalou he would have had more clear cut chances aswell or he is taking far too many shots from range.

And on the point of Redknapp joining as manager, I personally wouldn't have chosen him as I don't like his style and Lampard always scores against teams that Redknapp is managing so hopefully it won't mean own goals from Lampard next season

Trying to look as some positives if Redknapp is appointed and there is a few i suspect. He is English which is rare for Chelsea, he plays attaking football which is what Roman wants, he could bring both or either Bale and Modric and it will be harder for him to financialy ruin us like he has done with all his former clubs.
