I'm quite a fan of Mata, not only is he a fantastic player but seems to have his head screwed on. I heard he was studying for two degrees at the same time alongside training, so he's obviously one of the brighter footballers out there. Professional.

Out of interest, which degrees? (If you know).
 
Watching the Swansea game again, where we really seem to struggle is making the transition from defense to attack. Mikel/Romeu are no distributers of the ball. Ramires is always going to find it tough to shuttle the ball throught a packed Swansea midfield. We definitely need a midfielder who can distribute the ball but has the defensive abilities to play in a double pivot.

Oh yes we need a striker too. Torres was woeful against Swansea....again. Can we please have Dani lead the line tonight?

No doubt Torres will start tonight. Worrying we paid £50 million for him to win us big games like tonights but instead it makes the fans more nervous when he plays...
 
What line up is everyone hoping to see tonight? I would like to see: Cech Ivanovic Cahill Terry Bertrand Mikel Ramires Moses/Oscar Mata Hazard Sturridge
 
Starting 11 - Cech, Brana, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Mikel, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Mata and Torres.

Only shock is that JT starts on the bench.
 
i do love proving our fans wrong. When we were first linked with Moses in the summer i said he is exactly what we need and most said he would just be another Kalou. Thats why were champions!!!!
 
Huge win for us tonight. Shakhtar played extremely well and we rode our luck at times but we dominated the second half and managed to pull out a deserved victory. Hopefully we get a point in Turin now
 
Fernando Torres is the footballing equivalent of the guy in your office who walks around all day looking busy, talking to people, sometimes carrying a pen and paper, but never actually does any ******* work

I know he scored an important few goals but Kalou also did that on occasions... Moses has not played enough IMO to have the tag of Being better or a different player to kalou
 
BTW everyone should check out Kalou's goal against Bayern it was an absolute gem, the only highlight for Lille.

He is a totally different player to Kalou that was my argument. I liked Kalou but already in these early days Moses is showing he has the potential to be something way more better than Sala.

I actually had to double take as i couldn't believe it was him!!!! The last Ivorian to score at the Allianz was???? Haha we all know.
 
Btw we have apparently signed a young Brazilian RB from Fluminese by the name of James Wallace. He will be on loan with Fluminese before joining in January. Good signing as we don't really have too many RB prospects outside of Azpilicueta and Kalas
