I don't think some were referring to Moses' ability when saying he's our next Kalou. We are certainly trying to use him in the same way, having him come off the bench and try to make an impact.

Discussing ability is another matter.

I think that's part of the Deco deal from a few years back? We get first option on a couple of their players. If I remember correctly he played in the u17 World Cup a couple of years ago alongside Adryan; seemed a decent player there

Yeah your right mate. He has been doing well in the Brazilian League. However, like all Brazilians he only knows how to attack and his defensive game needs polishing if he is to play in Europe. He will probably be sent on loan or something I guess after a few months training at Chelsea

Also they have been plenty of rumours that the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan were after him so he is definitely a talent

CHELSEA FC ANNOUNCES ANNUAL PROFIT | News Article | News | Official Site | Chelsea Football Club

Yes that's right, we announce a profit of 1.4 million for the first time since the Roman era. More proof that this club is going the right way about things and as much as people hate it we are here to stay.

DEBT FREE, WHEREVER WE MAY BE, WE ARE THE FAMOUS CFC!!!!

Isn't this FFP profit? I mean like transfer fee are spread over the contract just for accounting purpose?

No, it is proof that modern football is ****. Would have loved to have been alive before all the rich money men controlled football.

It needs to be pointed out that this figure doesn't include this summer's spending by Chelsea, and are inflated by winning the Champions League (which isn't a realistic sustainable source of income) and you'll likely be back in debt big time next year.

That said, fair play.

UEFA amortise player contracts for FFP, these figures don't include their huge summer spending.

Still good news for Chelsea, but about half of the revenue increase was a one off due to CL too.

And why didn't they just release their full accounts instead of a PR exercise with cherry picked figures?

Because that was the point. Its a PR exercise. Wont fool the people that matter mind, but its a good step in the right direction.

Money is everywhere in football these days its how it is, just embrace it and accept it. If not your probably best off not being interested in the sport!

This summers spending shouldn't effect the figures that much as they are being paid over the remainder of their contracts.

Regardless of that it's proving the people who said Chelsea wont comply with FFP wrong and there were a lot of them.

You will have to win the champions league every year to comply with the FFP...
