I doubt it mate, alot of the young lads are with the first team so i suspect he is just making up the numbers.

Chelsea have signed Thibaut Courtois from Genk on a 5 year contract. Expected to be loaned back to Genk straight away. Fee yet to be announced but thought to be in the region of 5m euros.

Good deal, dont know much about the lad but from what i'v seen he looks decent. After the game Hilario had today we need a new keeper.

Chelsea's defense has been 'unimpressive' to say the least.

I wouldnt say that, Hilario was very poor comming out on both occasions and in the first half we were very solid especially Kalas.

Only player in that side i would expect/hope to make it at Chelsea would be Kane. Well played Crawley though.

what an awful game we just played.

Our first proper pre-season game, give it time bud lol. It wasent awful is you was there lol, our support was immense and made Pompeys look amatuer.

Just come back from the game and i enjoyed it massivly. Our away support is outstanding and out sung Pompey the whole game. Some possatives where the performances of Kalas who looked very comfortable and also Clifford who looked very sharp. Most of the first team players looked lack lusture appart from Cole who again was Mr consistant. So glad we signed a keeper today after Hilario's performance and although it was an own goal that won us the game we never really looked in doubt (appart from 1 or 2 hickups). Onwards and upwards now UTC!!!

The Sun is reporting a 14 million pound bid from AFC for Romelu, plausible BUT CFC have first option on him still and Anderlecht will not sell until they complete the signings of Prica/Jovanovic. Chelsea bid was 15 million euros, not too far from the reported AFC bid but Wenger knows better than trying to sign someone Chelsea has first option on, De Bruyne deal is ''very close'' and he will be loaned back to Genk.

A good performance by us today considering it was our first Pre-Season Game and we saw Yossi Benayoun adapting to a position in the middle of the park which makes me think we may only be signing one CM this transfer window, god to see AVB giving chances to the likes of Nats Chalobah 2

Typical response you would expect from a Da Costa player, I love the interest the club who wants me is big but I'm happy and FCP is also a big club growing back into its history and we want to continue winning.

But essentially is the release clause is matched he would go and Da Costa would sell...

Wouldn't expect Moutinho to come out with anything else to be honest.

CFC still in driving seat, they have first option and the Arsenal side story is probably Anderlecht/Lukaku's dad hurrying the deal along...

Mark my words on Courtois: He will NOT be loaned back to Genk, alot of reasons why... Athletico loan offer still on table.

De Bruyne: Played for Genk vs Lyon in a friendly last night, CFC still talking and he would be loaned back to Genk.

Lukaku negotiations are always going to be in Chelsea's court since they have first option.

possibly because there was no concrete interest from us in Falcao while us buying Moutinho is a much higher possibility as we are in need of CMs and AVB has said that he will look for alternatives if our upcoming 30m bid for Modric fails

Yeah he does but when it's dealing with players having a release fee it's a different ball game entirely, he owes Porto quite alot for putting faith in him but like I said a Da Costa player would be expected to say that. If someone matched his release clause Da Costa would be happy letting him go because he has always had the philosophy of every player is replaceable...

Ramsey - United fan and Giggs was his idol. We and Arsenal went for him he chose Arsenal.
Smalling - Arsenal fan. We and Arsenal went for him, he chose us.

Players choose clubs that is best for their career..

BH- Latest update I got from a Belgian journo is in one of my posts from this morning...

I've said quite a few times Lukaku deal will not be completed until Anderlecht finalise their deals for Jovanovic/Prica then they will sell...

At the moment Chelsea have a 15 million euros offer on the table and Anderlecht sent a top director to talk to CFC on Friday about negotiating the fee, they want 20 million euros but Chelsea know they will accept 15-18 million euros, the 15 million bid will stay on the table and be negotiated it will not be rejected outright I would suspect.

Personal terms will not be a problem, either will a medical...

Already talk (very audacious talk) that Lukaku will be sent to Ligue 1 on loan by CFC and would be used as leverage in any potential Bastos/Lopez/Gourcuff/HAZARD/Sow/Valbuena deal, very early to speculate on that front but it is a possibility that Lukaku will be loaned out it would seem. Hazard=Most unlikely I have to say but money talks in football and Lille could do with Lukaku in their strikeforce...All speculation on that front atm.

Complicated situation, player/agent has agreed a contract already with Madrid but Santos want him to go to Barce because Barce are willing to let him play in the CWC for Santos and arrive at Barce in January...

Florentino Perez is set to meet Neymars father to directly smooth over any deal, when Florentino flies out himself that usually means things get done...

Sandro Rosell is on holiday so his counterpart at Barce will not carry as much weight when negotiating...

I think Aguero will end up at City personally, I have a sneaky suspicion/hunch one player that is still a genuine possibility for CFC to sign is Pastore...

Deal wont be sorted out quickly but I have a feeling they are talking/negotiating for him as I type.
