Another top class performance by Torres IMO
Movement dribbling and passes are all excellent.
I still feel he doesn't have the right service...
with malouda shooting anywhere in the opponent's half...
and the final balls to him are rather poor,but at least Ramires tries ..
 
Well, it's not a matter of luck if you hit the woodwork - it means your shot wasn't good enough to go in.

If the ball hits the post or goes 30 yards wide doesn't matter. It's still not a goal. There's no room for luck in that. You either score, or you don't.

Corse its unlucky, if someone has a shot from 5 yards and hits the post then its not unlucky its just pure ****. Its unlucky when its from a distance or hit with a difficult technique.
 
Missed the game as I was in bed (bad fan). Phil Thomp said Essien has bulked up, say it ain't so?

How's not hitting the target 'unlucky' =/ It wasn't good enough, it's as simple as that. Great technique, sure, but the shot wasn't good enough.

So if someone has a shot from 30 yards and it hits the post to you thats a poor effort??

He has always been this big, Tommo is just better off dead. Why on earth do they get him to watch Chelsea games its getting ridiculous.

I like Tommo-good part of the Soccer Saturday team. Just needs to get rid of the red blinkers sometimes lol

I didn't say it was a poor effort, but it clearly wasn't good enough to score.
