I think Cavani will offer more but Dzeko would be the cheaper less of a risk option so i'd be chuffed with either if i am honest.

Torres does everything else better than Dzeko though. If I had to choose, I'd choose neither.

With the creative attacking midfielders we have all we really need is a striker who will score goals more than anything and I think Dzeko could do well for us

Yeah this was my argument the other day, i think we easily have enough creativity and some of the faults Torres has was that he was far too deep and by the time a cross or cut back was delivered he was on the edge of the box instead of peno spot-6 yard box.

Dzeko was banging goals in for fun before he moved and didn't get a regular place. Lot more powerful player, could be a solid Drogba style battering ram letting the dynamic trio up front do their thing. Lot cheaper than Cavani too.

Lot inferior too.

I assume Dzeko is being lined up as a plan B if City beat us to Cavani. That said, I can't see any way of offloading Torres in the bargain in any deal for Dzeko

Chris Cohen who works for Chelsea TV and also dropped hinted months ago that Jose would definitely come back is as good a source as any.

From what i have heard Chelsea have met the release clause for Cavani so of course the bid has been accepted. Man City have offered 30million+ Dzeko which has also been accepted and Juventus has had a bid accepted not sure whether they have met a release clause or offered any player in a deal. City have offered more in terms of wages but on a 4 year deal where as Chelsea have offered a 5 year deal and allegedly Chelsea is his most favorable destination.

Are you watching Mourinho?

de Bruyne fantastic all season for Bremen, and equally as good for Belgium. A goal and assist tonight so far vs Serbia
