That would be a ******* dream team Jose, AVB (although I don't like him and his methods - he's ******* clueless), Clarke and Zola!!!!!

We had a better team in Mourinho's first reign ... Mourinho, AVB, Clarke and Rodgers. Wow

GC/MIKE, is there anyone better than Pogba as of now - age / current ability / potential - for that CM position?

Totally out of topic, but just curious. ******* love that monster.

Thiago. But on form, Pogba is the best for his age. Juve worried that Raiola will take him to PSG to join Zlatan

Schwarzer azpilicueta Cahill Luiz cole mikel Lampard de bruyne Willian schurrle Eto'o

bench: Blackman Terry essien Oscar hazard ba Torres

Same old bollocks Chelsea fail to kill the game off and as a result concede a late equaliser.

And fail to score don't forget. The amount of own goals we've been getting this season sis crazy...

Since Jose has come back what improvements have we actually made since rafa was in charge? Going to get **** from fellow Chelsea fans but I don't care it's true.

I do wonder this tbh, he is a top manager, but I struggle to understand why Chelsea are inconsistent as **** at the moment.

I can only assume Jose is making a case that he needs plenty of money to spend in January and that he wants the team "his", and thus is saying "Look, Roman, see how these incompetent players play without Jose special influence?! I need ?200m, I win you trophy. Special one. Special price."

In which case, it makes you appreciate even more the job Rafa did with no money. Surely even the most one eyed of Chelsea fans must recognise that.

But it still doesn't take away the fact that we do need to strengthen. Unbalanced midfield, leaky defence, and can't score. Instead of buying the likes of Schuerrle, why didn't we strengthen in the positions most needed?

Oh I totally agree, the squad is fundamentally unbalanced.Getting Willian to get one over Spurs? Buying Schurrle, but not really using him up front. Spending 3 months chasing Rooney when United would have rather died than sell to him. Seems ego driven rather than actually what is for the best for Chelsea.

That's what's upsetting honestly. I remember in the original Jose era, we could be 2-1 down and I wouldn't think we were going to lose, I would just wonder if we going to get to the win or not. We had a bunch of players that obviously hated being beaten and we would keep going until the last kick of the game. We could be lazy and we could be lax, but we never collapsed in the same way that we seem to now.

I was excited about Jose coming back because I had hoped we would get that old spirit in this new set of players. So far, that just isn't happening and I don't think spending a load more money is going to help that because it's a mental problem. I

Well, the odd thing is the midfield was pretty much what it was last year, except now you have Essien, KDB and Van Ginks, the defence arguably should be stronger with Ivanovic in the side ahead of whoever else you lot had last year, and the striking situation should be solved with Schurrle. The club obviously tried to fix these areas, it just hasn't worked.

Edit: And Etoo.

While I definitely think the Willian money could've been spent elsewhere, he's proving to be a real quality player, so I have no problem with that.

Maybe MvG was the answer. Real shame with the injury. First Romeu when he was getting chances under Rafa now him. :(
