what man city?

NYCFC's season doesn't begin until March, so it seems that they're utilising the relationship between the clubs to maintain his fitness. I'm reading that he could potentially face us twice in City colours...

We'll be using NYC as a feeding club and playing time for the kids, might as well intergrate one of the main players around the place, so they know, (probably) the captain ahead of time etc. Its a suprising move though, but doubt he'll play much.

This situation with lamps should never have happened, should have been a player coach, he still better than a lot of players, even better than Milner, a so called England player, i support liverpool by the way, its a disgrace

*panic incoming* *raging little cfc fans incoming* *burning Lamps shirts incoming*

I will be physically sick if i see him in a City shirt but you will not see any burning of shirts, Chelsea fans actually have some class when it comes to that.

When lamps gets a game for city it will a serious mind **** I don't think I'll be able to get my head around it

I very much doubt he will play against Chelsea out of respect.

Probably not, but would like to see Pellegrini troll Jose back

I doubt Jose will give a **** about whether Lampard plays against him or not ... Sadly Lamps not the player he once was

Really odd of Lampard how he is going to City, didn't expect it at all. Thought he'd of ****** off to America for a nice 6 month relax before their season.

Never in a million years would of expected him to go on loan to arguably Chelsea's biggest title threat this season, surely that will tarnish his image in some Chelsea fans eyes.

Lampard has requested not to be picked against City.

It's confirmed btw.

Not even slightly. Don't be silly.

Good try though.

I don't need to try anything, I'm just surprised by Lampard doing it, don't think anyone expected it, last season he said he would find it too hard to play for another Premier League team... then he joins your biggest title rivals for 6 months, errrrr..... ok.... I just don't get it personally, what is he trying to get out of it.

Plus, don't kid yourself it does tarnish his image in some Chelsea fans eyes, it obviously has just by looking at twitter alone you can see some laughable reactions.

Enjoy him wearing a Man City shirt won't you? ;)

That makes it all ok then! Wave the flags and ring the bells. Lampard is still a hero who for some reason decided to go to Chelsea's biggest title rivals for 6 months because he so badly needs the money.

Should of gone QPR like Ferdinand, no one would of blinked an eye as he is just reforming with an old manager and it won't effect Chelsea whatsoever as I doubt they'll be in top half of table.

I don't, just working it out in my head why of all places he would go to a title rival.

Maybe because city's owners also own NYC FC and he will barely play at all just keep up his fitness till the mls begins.
