If Lampard ends up costing us the title that means we DON'T DESERVE IT. Sorry but it's so early in the season and it CANNOT be Lampard's fault if we do fail to win the title. It's disgusting to say that.

Where did I once say it was Lampards fault ??, 'Disgusting to say that' is a bit of an over reaction you need to calm down. I'm just stating how Lampard would feel if that played a part in Chelsea not winning the title then he would be gutted because you could tell he didn't really want to play and obviously loves the club & will be gutted he scored into them.

Only managed to watch the first 45 minutes but felt we were quite poor for the majority of the 1st half. Ramires and Willian were very sloppy in possession and we didn't counter well at all and at the back we looked nervous.

2nd half was spent listening to it at work and everyone in the shop knew we had scored! Just seen the highlights and it was a fantastic goal, excellent movement and a sensational cross by Hazard who i was impressed with today.

Now to the main subject from this game, Super Frank! When Pellegrini said during the week that Lamps could play this game i said something which i regret now and just how stupid i was. I said "i'd love him to play because he has not got the pace to play in the bigger games, our midfield will pass him by. But why oh why did i forget that this is a man who scored 211 goals for us many of them from nothing arriving late in the box. You would have thought our midfield who have trained with Lampard for years and watched him doing these runs would pick him up! Funnily enough it was JT who realised the run but he couldn't get to Frank quick enough. I hold absolutely 0 grudges against Lampard and why should we? He is a professional and he is doing his job for his new team its as simple as that.

I would have taken 1 point before the game and with the red card and and going 1 up but that along with the fact that i think City were the better side i'd say a draw was the fairest result. I made a bold statement last night to friends that if we won this game then i believed the title was as good as over i am that confident. So its not the end of the world we are still unbeaten and we are still not Man Utd or Tottenham!

Pre match: 1-1? Sure, I'll take it.
Post match: Not entirely happy with the final 10 minutes. Dominated in all aspects by 10 men. Still a good result, but should have been 3 points.

One last thing. Found it funny how the cameras kept insisting on Chelsea supporters after Frank scored, like they were praying for them to start jeering Frank.

Great away day but ******* **** that Lampard goal hurt! Our fans reaction though was brilliant and it was funny when he came over to the away end at the full time whistle some city fans started to boo the man who just rescued them a point.

Oh yeah btw Mangala and Kompany looks like a terrifying partnership! Both were brilliant yesterday.

I am still understandly upset that we sold Mata to United but from the look of things, it won't have as much of a negative impact on us as I expected it to. Would be still immense if somehow Mata came back

What you are asking is for Mourinho to admit he was wrong for selling him in the first place. Betting on Suarez biting again has a better odd than this.

Well Roman, a man with an even bigger ego brought Jose back... I'm just sayin'.

It won't happen though. Almost 100% sure.

I like Mata, like probably most of Chelsea fans, but the question is: Do we need him?
And I share your opinion on the matter, he is not coming back.

the reason Jose was brought back though was not because roman admitted he was wrong letting him go but because he had pretty much gone through every manager possible and there was no one left to bring in and he saw Jose was availible and knew he would be willing to come back due to his relationship with the players and fans.

Believe me if he didnt want to admit he was wrong in the first place he wouldnt have appointed Jose. Maybe he would have called Avram ******* Grant but not Jose.

Aye personally I don't think Mourinho was wrong in selling him. I just don't get why he had to be sold to ******* United. One of the best players in the league and we sell him to our rivals when they most need him. But thankfully it doesn't look like they will be using him much

Why is he wrong?

Mata was in terms of money and FFP a straight swap for Diego Costa. I think for Chelsea that's a ******* incredible piece of business.

I am not saying it wasn't a good piece of business. It was great. But Mata would still come out on top in our team in terms of creativity/finishing in the #10 position.

But a slight increase in creativity is much less important than the massive upgrade on finishing Diego Costa brings. Besides, Chelsea now has Cesc ******* Fabregas, who's better than Mata.

Costa was the main target this transfer window, so Mata or no Mata, he would have still been bought. The team looks a bit more balanced now, that is why I said in a previous post: Do we actually need Mata now? Oscar may not be as polished as Mata, but the two's workrate don't compare. If Oscar could be a bit more consistant, and less sci-fi with his passes at times, he would be the perfect Mourinho #10, which Mata, let's be honest, will never be.
