Well, that's the hardest part. It's all about research - a lot of the sites that I have linked in the OP are very useful for that sort of thing, and I was planning on using this thread for discussion on certain players and attributes. I could even put a section in the OP for complete sets of attributes for some players if that would help people, but it would obviously be difficult to include them all.

Everyone has an opinion on how good certain players were, and hopefully if their opinions are voiced, we can create a true reflection of those players for a legend database.

I look forward to actually seeing these players made, there are some real legendary players here. Has anyone made a Santos team? I know in the sixties when they had pele they beat AC Milan champions of europe twice with no problem, a couple of those players would be worth a mention?

I will be doing the brazilian and argentinian leagues eventually. Anyone consider Arie Haan an Anderlecht legend or should I put him at Ajax? Ajax already have Rafael Van Der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, Frank Rijkaard, Aron Winter & Nigel De Jong as central midfielders...

Also, Johan Neeskens - Ajax or Barcelona? Currently leaning towards Ajax as Barca will have Xavi, Laudrup, Guardiola, Iniesta etc
