No deal. I know everyone raves about Shaw, but I think £17 million is way too much for a full back. I reckon you could get someone equally effective for half that.

Luke Shaw has developed into nothing in my save.. Jose Angel I paid £3.m and is now worth over £13m!

also, Georgiy Schennikov is available for that price, if not cheaper!

Adam Smith is good as well, Aymen Abdennour is probably your best player, see if he is interested!

Player: Leandro Damiao
Team you are managing: Tottenham
Team who are buying/selling: Internacional
Offer: Demanding £40.5 million
Year: End of 2012/13 season, got champions league football next year and just won the Euro Cup.
Other Info: Have Defoe and Adebayor as my forwards but looking for a better/more consistant forward. Defoe did well but Adebayor was hit and miss. Have £40.5 million transfer budget and forward is the only area i really need to strengthen. I feel he's a bit expensive but not sure who else to get.

He is a great striker but that is too much, Neymar, Falcao & Cavani can be picked up for around the same price if not less!

I would look at Rodrigo/Abel Hernadez/Iago Aspas/Rondon/Doumbia/Luuk De Jong/Adrian as well who would be a lot cheaper :)

Thanks i'll take a look at the others. I tried Neymar but he wanted too much in wages :(

Marc-Andre ter Stegen - £17.5m from Dortmund. I have about £5.5m in my transfer budget mid-November so I may be able to get some more in January. I have Ruffier in goal at the minute and I'm wondering if it's worth splashing out for ter-Stegen.

Yes to ter-stegen. Although there are other keepers around that could be a cheaper option. Also, look for regens. France seem to kick out so many goalkeepers it's unreal.

@ Leandro for 40m .. Never. He's good, but he's a **** of a lot worse than Ademilson. Gareth bale outscored him by playing on the wings for me ha.

I know this is probably the wrong thread but w/e.
I need a striker for Spurs 1st season, jan update.
Also i got 3 midfield positions, DLP(d),CM(s) and AP(a), who should play where? Fellaini, Kroos, Sandro, Parker, Dembele, Holtby, Huddlestone

Player: Falcao
Team you are managing: PSG
Team who are buying/selling: Atletico Madrid
Offer: 36 Million Pounds
Year: 2012/13 season
Other Info: Selling Ibrahimovic to Chelsea for
15 Million pounds as he's 31 so getting good resale value. Is he worth 36 million quid at 27?

Try get him to around £25-30m (Try unsettling him, he often hands in a transfer request). Although if you can get him Cavani is better!

I think £36 million is too much for him, even at a club with finances like PSG. I think you could get a player almost as good, and slightly younger with more years to contribute, for maybe £20 million. I would try Lewandowski. Younger, cheaper, and about as good short-term.

Player: Nathan Redmond
Team you are managing: Anji Makhachkala
Team who are buying/selling: Wigan Athletic
Offer: $14m
Year: 2016/17
Other Info: Only 22 years old and seems pretty cheap for what he might turn into

Player: Younes Belhanda
Team you are managing: Anji Makhachkala
Team who are buying/selling: Arsenal
Offer: $12m
Year: 2016/17
Other Info: Again, seems pretty cheap for a player of his caliber

Anyone think i overpaid for my players? I simply hate english players for posession so i have wilshere etc and rely on them for defence.I needed a fullback who was english so i dropped 16.5m on walker as arsenal first season.I got alderweireld for like 12.5m and jovetic for 20m.

Does walker turn out good? I needed the best england had to offer in both fullback spots and was prepared to stump up some serious money (up to 15m each) to get them.I now have gibbs alderweireld vermaelen walker as my back four. Two belgians and two english and hopefully the best two fullbacks and centerbacks available to thier national teams.

If i put someone like butland as goalkeeper i can have walker, gibbs, wilshere, butland in my first 11 and full the rest inc midfield and striker with 6 spanish playmakers :D I currently have cazorla wilshere on the wings with arteta ramsey and diaby in midfield :P Isco is coming in 2013 and hopefully ander herrera too!

Definitely no deal. I do rate Vidal, but not at €45 million (£37 million). I think you'd be hugely overpaying for him. Plus he's got good tenacity for winning the ball back but lacks the positional sense Carrick has. No deal, but I can't recommend anyone to get instead.

Team you are managing: FC Porto
Team who are buying: Real Madrid
Offer: £35m
Year: 2016/17
Other Info: I found a regen not quite as good, but still a good player from Columbia who is currently playing for Santos who could probably play the role, just a bit worse for £18 million

Buy Belhanda, but pass on Redmond, You can get better for the money, invest in a good regen instead that has a better potential!

For me it depends on your need for profit and how you're doing in the Portuguese league. If you're cruising to the title most seasons, and looking capable of competing in the latter stages Champions League, then no deal. Don't change a winning formula. But if you feel there's a need for transition to win the trophies, there are other positions in the squad that need addressing or you need to sort out your finances, then deal. Especially if you feel the other regen has a bit of potential.

Well in this save so far I have made 118 million of profit on players in 4 and a half years as I am trying to replicate what Porto do in real life in terms of making a lot of money on players... Anyway I managed to get Madrid up to 42 million, with another 4 million in add ons ... I decided to promote a 20 year old player from my b team who was impressing and so far he's scored 8 in 12

£118 million profit? That's pretty impressive, well done mate! If it was me I'd still no deal, especially if you're team is doing well at the moment. I think the finances will take care of themselves if you're consistently winning the title and getting into the Champions League. But obviously it's your game, can be more fun being a selling club so if you reckon the other two players could step in and score goals then go for it!
