You could try and get him for a bit less but still a quality player deal for a lower price

Additional Info: I've sold Alex to Fiorentina for about £15.5m and Jose Bosingwa for £10. I need another first-choice center-half and am split between Kjær and Juventus' Giorgio Chiellini who is listed at £32m as he is unhappy with Juve's new contract. Thoughts?

Maybe both? For their position (CM, but defensive minded) I have Alex Song and M. Diarra (loaned from Madrid, can get him for free at the end of the season), Denilson can work there too but he's nothing special. I've Jay E. Thomas too, is he useful as the tough, tackling CM in the long term?
