Yeah my assistant recommended him to me but I said no, if you've got like £700k to spend and you want an experienced striker then I'd say get him, but Braga's strikers are actually good (apart from Adriano)

I got rid of most Braga's strikers except for Meyong and Yazalde, maybe a mistake

yazalde as the up and coming hot shot off the bench complements them well i think. meyong as a back up, adriano can do one, he just didnt perform for me.
fonseca never gets injured/tired thanks to his 20 for natural fitness too. but palermo (the club) and villa are sniifing around for him... :S

I got Fonseca but i have had to play him on the wing for most of the season due to Denilson being injured
wouldnt reccomend Adriano but Meyong has been OK
Guys I've just tried loading up my game and this error keeps appearing.. Does anyone know why it does it and how to fix it? I only save to a single file because I get annoyed when I have to many saves in my save folder so I have no back-up. Does anyone know of a fix?
I pressed okay on the error box and another appeared saying "save cannot be loaded". This isn't good :/

there are a few different types of xml parsing errors, ive never experienced a save game one before. but yes you should be able to fix it ^^).

Thanks I'm skimming through but can't seem to find one save related. I'll start again just incase it's not possible to fix it, although anybody that knows anything, please tell me!
Other XML Errors
Delete the following folder:
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings
Vista: C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings
try deleting that folder. i did that and downloaded a new version of xml parser from microsoft as reccomended.

Looks like i am going to finish 4th. It sucks because i have had a pretty amazing season so far. If it was not for slip ups vrs smaller clubs i would have been challenging for the title. Only one of the 'big three' to beat me was Sporting (away)
