A tribute to a Welshman with a vision. Gary Speed a true cult hero for many, a legend for some, one to be remembered for all. As a salute to Gary Speed's dedication to the welsh national team I've devised a challenge for people to try to emulate and surpass Gary's vision. Bring Glory to Wales, start with the foundations, a solid youth team. So, I thought that I'd make a spin off from the San Marino Challenge. This one requires a little less dedication, since Swansea are already in the Prem, and Cardiff are in the Championship. However, The main aspect to this Challenge is to harvest young welsh talent and turn the national side into a contender. Now, Let's all think for a moment about the Barca team, That is a perfect example of home grown talent. Emulate that and bring pride to Wales!

We've taken many suggestions from last season and the main one seems to be managers wanting to add the Welsh Premier league into the fold. We are very keen to do this and it is in the works - so if you want to manger Bangor City or TNS go ahead and post on here as part of the challenge and we will eventually add your points onto the chart.

how many points for winning the top welsh league ?

We haven't fully decided on a point scale for the Welsh leagues yet. We are up for suggestions if you want to throw a few at us.

Obviously winning the Welsh Cup would remain the same points total. Winning the WPL would probably be about the same tally as winning the League 2. Around 15 or something. You qualifying for group stages of the CL would increase slightly as it is harder for the welsh teams to battle through the 3 rounds of qualifying.

But throw some numbers out there that are reasonable and we can discuss the possibility of implementing that into the challenge.

A start! New team inspired by Andy's run last year.

I don't get my copy til next week, but im all aboard for this!

Well, I'll be starting this! And I'll keep going, I promise!

Really wanted to do this, but my story's taken over, sorry guys

Why is it the same amount of points for Swansea to win the PL and with Colywn Bay? Surely you should get more points winning it with Colywn Bay?

I'd assume it's since you'd accumulate more
points along the way to getting to the PL with the 'Bay as opposed to Swansea.

EG: Swansea - PL points.
Colwyn Bay - BSN, BSP, L2, L1, Championship and then PL points.
