That's a good season tuckson and I do admire the people who start at the bottom because I've never really had a good go at LLM and struggle to adapt to the low quality. I'm getting better with that though. JonoMUFC some of your players are God-like so how you don't win the league and all the cups is beyond me but well done on the Capital One Cup. It's also interesting to see that England has lost a CL place but still has a 4.5 rep top division.

I don't have the depth yet, everytime i get close to the CL or winning the league either the schedule gets really tight (Like a cup final 2 days after a Europa League tie) or I get injuries and I do not have the godlike players in reserve to replace the likes of Spender and Navarro who I have to rotate to ensure they are not overused :(. Also I am working on my defense its been a bit leaky in the EPL since I got here so it needs work. For example again my new season has started with 2 torn hamstrings, 1 for my gk Squire and the other for my spanish rb both out for 2 months+

They got the 4th CL spot Golem, like a couple of ingame days later so I'm not sure what the problem was there, little buggy if you ask me

I get what you're saying. Same goes for me, but I just want to do this now, winning the CL with a squad of Colwyn Bay local boys just sounds way too tempting ;) Problem is I might get stuck in the BSP for some while. After finishing the second season my board decided to scrape a third of my wage budget in order to expand the stadium due to league requirements. Also I didn't get in a single useful loanee, so this is going to be hard, especially since Doble is gone (he's on a free now, but not a bit interested in joining...).

Well, not all hope is lost though. I'll just try to finish around midtable, get some nice cup runs and go for more young and talented Frenchies (got another nice CB). Until that happens I'll just keep on dreaming about Jono's players :D

LLM is really awesome and when you do get into the highest division there is a real sense of accomplishment, developing your own players and winning trophies with them is just really awesome!

You all want my **** players, keep your grubby paws to yourselves! :P

Ok, now it makes sense and how has that CB done? He looked pretty good. Also Jono, we all know you're jealous of Wellington Nem.

Very nice bringing Allen back to the Liberty Golem!
I know, I just had a poke at Liverpool for some reason and scouted Allen not expecting my scouts to give me a decent price. Him and Bale were my long term transfer targets when I started this game up.

The Trend continues!

I've now beaten, Gillingham, Scunthrope, and Torquay who have all gone and sack their managers after losing to me! This bring my total up to 15 managers sacked directly after losing to my Wrexham squad.

You must be the most hated manager by his peers in the world.

Richardson's Welsh Wonders take on the Gunners in Capital One Cup Final

Team News:

Swansea:
Richardson's newest signing Joe Allen is cup-tied for this match so will be watching from the sidelines.
Yohan Cabaye, Richardson's big money summer signing and vice-captain has been crocked for most of the season but may make the bench for this epic battle.
Nathan Dyer is injured to decrease Richardson's options out wide.
Chamakh can not play today due to him being on loan from Arsenal.

Arsenal:

Fernando Llorente and Vermaelaen are out injured and will have to watch their team mates from the sidelines.
Mikel Arteta is suspended for this match due to his horrendous sending off against Derby County.

The Line-ups:

The only potential talking point here is that Richardson has chosen Chico in favour of Ryan Donk, presumably because of Chico's superior recent form.

The Match:

CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The stats didn't do us justice but the scoreline did. We were dominant and our defending was better. Chico was a rock at the back and Ademilson and Scott Sinclair carved them open. Scott Sinclair scored the only goal which won us the match.

The aftermath:

I've done really well in this competition both years. Last year we made the Semis, two rounds better than the club had ever done before and this year we won.

Very big congrats Golem, that trophy is gonna become the bread and butter of this Challenge :D

I just had the largest freak result I think ever. I put my team on the park clicked play and minimized the game because my dad wanted to show me something on the net. When I pulled FM back up I was 8-0 up against Chelsea at half time :O

So I figured there had to be something bad about chelsea's lineup, well the answer to that was no as well.

But I'll take that result happily any day of the week :P

That's a brilliant result. You need to play like that week in, week out now.

Haha, I'm not sure thats possible and if I pulled results like that out regularly there might be an accusation of cheating :P
I know. It was a joke, I don't really expect you to play like that week in, week out.

I've found these guys and I'm signing them:

I had to offer Walsh a rotation contract but I reckon I can get it down to backup when he arrives and then I should be able to fit him in somewhere. What do you guys think of them? I hope Walsh becomes something special but Fayers might not make it in my opinion.
