I've found these guys and I'm signing them:

I had to offer Walsh a rotation contract but I reckon I can get it down to backup when he arrives and then I should be able to fit him in somewhere. What do you guys think of them? I hope Walsh becomes something special but Fayers might not make it in my opinion.

After the welsh players eh?! Walsh looks like he could be a good squad player in a few years. As for the other one I'm not overly impressed with him, but with his determination stat so high he may train really hard and you may be impressed with him in a few years. They are raw but I think if your coaches and facils are better than where they are now they'll definitely improve!

Quick update of my own:

Just finished the first half of season three and things don't work the way I want them too. We're stuck in the lower half of the table depite dominating most matches. There are a few reasons for this. 1) Injuries. It's not like we have ultimate squad depth, played at least 3 matches with Welsh CB Steffan Jones up front... 2) We're incredibly vulnerable on the flanks due to my tactics (playing a 5-3-2 with wing backs and an AMC). Our wing backs are utter ***** tbh, hoping to get some good ones. 3) No loanees this year. No one semi-decent even thinks about joining us. Even out-of-contract players from Northern Irish rubbish clubs won't come, it's just frustrating. 4) No more Ryan Doble, best goalscorer is Tom Bradshaw with 9 goals in 21 matches. 5 of those goals were scored in our 7-0 victory at Havant and Waterlooville though...

Still, not given up hope yet. Playoffs are 9 points away and our recent form's been really ok (draws against York and Stockport) so I'll hope to get on some kind of run. FA Cup was over in 4th Q Rd, FA Trophy is still running as we reached round 2.

Just received this one. Looks like reason 5) is the lack of money, their wage budget is more than five times higher than mine...

Welcome to lower league management! lol There is always a team out there with more money! Don't give up though, it looks like your team is doing well, I had to spend another season in League 2 and it allowed my players to solidify themselves and I'm in a dog fight for the League title right now. If you don't get the promotion right away I wouldn't worry, just take what you can then start thinking about the next season.

How are the other Welsh teams doing in your save? I see Newport are in the BSP. Where are Wrexham, Swansea and Cardiff?

Faulky and Tuckson you're doing great and Faulky that is one great regen. I am after the Welsh players and I hope they can do well. My facilities are decent now and my coaching team is one of the best in the world by the way.

Nice Golem!! Those players will definitely benefit from being at your club then. They may not benefit your club, but Wales definitely!

I'm not even thinking about giving up ;) The table doesn't quite represent how good we are, as I said, usually we dominate the game, don't score and concede whenever we can. But I agree with you, next season when the team gels in a bit and gets used to the tactic (and i hopefully get something like a striker) things should be alright.

Onto the Welsh clubs, they're doing as expected. Swansea is fighting againt relegation in the PL like they (successfully) did for the last two year. Cardiff are in the Championship after spending 2013/14 in the top flight, looks like they might go up again. Wrexham got promoted after season one and got into League Two playoffs immediately only to lose the final. Now they're near relegation zone, we'll see how it goes. Can't say much about any Welsh regens so far, Blackburn seem to have a nice pacey forward though, grabbed from the world renowned youth academy of Bryntirion...

Will be finishing the season later, after I've watched a film so an update may come during Match Of The Day/ The Football League Show.

You should take a look at craig hobson on loan, I've had him for both the second and third seasons in the blue square north and he's been a massive help to the club and I reckon he could probably do the same at the next level up. And I was playing as guiesely so they probably aren't as high rep as you are now.

What a season! Champions League football next season

Got there thanks to 3 fantastic finishing games (My players must have been on something vs Arsenal and Chelsea)

View attachment 289154

And Ademilson had a decent season

So very happy, should get a good budget next season so i can have a go at the CL- obviously not to win but maybe get to the knockout round!

Looking forward to European football!

2020/2021 Season in Review

It all came down to the last game of the season, Chelsea with a win over Wrexham could bring the title home and Wrexham with a draw or win could be bringing a EPL title back to Wales! At the Zola Arena a title and a legacy were about to be defined!

View attachment 289193

And with Spender leading the way with 2 goals the title is coming back with Wrexham to Wales, what a brilliant performance by the young Wrexham captain as he took the game into his own hands and ensured he would lift the English Premier League trophy above his head!

Europa League
The europa league was good until I met Arsenal who I cannot beat no matter what I try, they deservedly knocked me out of the EL at the QF stage which was a good showing!

The Keys to the success!

Of course Spender is my player of the season again but Navarro, Parker and Henrikson all played their parts, Navarro even broke the EPL scoring record this season!

Wrexham win the nPower League 2!

After a few hiccups early on I managed to help the squad turn it around (with a point in the right direction from JonoMUFC). So here is a look at the finish line for nPower League 2.

Well, There you have it - I win the league, those who were talking to me getting close to the end of the season would know how excited I was when Accrington started to slip up towards the end of the season. I added them in there as well to show the progress my team actually made!

View attachment 289204View attachment 289207

This is Nicky Gibson after the season. He played Half a season in the WPL on still managed to win both the League player of the year and young league player of the year. You know you have a talented kid when that happens!

View attachment 289205

Brought this guy in mid-way through the season too, multiple board meetings said they were very happy with his signing, I also think that he helped turn the season around for me and looks to be a bright spot for the future too.

Speaking of bright spots here are some of my youth intake from the season. I am very happy with the crop.

And to top it all off, I won Manager of the year! Quite chuffed.

A bit of bad news though - Since I was doing so well cutting the wage budget, the trimmed 10K per week off it so now I'm maxed out for wage :(.

Kezza well done on making the CL. Jono that league win is great. Faulky well done on promotion and I'm so jealous of your youth intakes, Walsh and Fayers are the two top Welsh prospects (unless you count this left back at Chelsea who has played for England U19s) and you're putting my youth to shame. I also have a left back called Russell who came through my club in the first year (not second like Walsh or Fayers) who is in a similar mould to Fayers but not quite as good. I agree that Walsh is a future Welsh international striker for sure. The only thing going for my youth is that they all have at least 18 determination.

I'm kind of glad that if that's the case the most of the best prospects are full backs since I think determination is more important in that position than any other.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My team can't win for the life of them and they toss away any lead. Just watched them lose 7-3.

Also Faulky. Can I put in a manager at Wales, retire him and then apply for the job and still get the points for being hired? The game never excludes the old manager so it would be fair.
