Where do i download this?

You can't download it! You can make a new game, select Italian leagues down to Serie C2 and then you can also in the custom db load all San Marinese players and then you can play with San Marino in Serie C2/B group and when the opportunity presents the San Marino national team!!!!!!

This challenge sounds great, I'll surely give it a go since i got my FM11.
Got one question though: how are the C-leagues compared to, lets say, Blue Square Premier? Been wondering about who i could approach on a free transfer.

hey how do you add san marino leagues becasue i was reading about this person who done it please reply i want to start as soon as possible with them but want to know how to add the league

If you want to play sammarinese league you'll have to create that with the editor, there was a thread with that challenge (which is a bit too much for me!), find here: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f113/san-marino-challenge-t55239.html

Well BS premier is 5th tier I think while Serie C2 is 4th, so the general standard of football should be slightly better.

Also english and italian lower leagues tend to have some differences in terms of playing style, manager strategies and player attributes: in english LLM pace, stamina and generally all physical attributes are often the key for success. Italy even at lowest level is more about tactical awareness and a slower tempo style, and mental attributes are very important.

You can find a little serie C introduction (nothing special really) at page 1 (post 28) of this thread, and if you need further advice on signings and recruitment feel free to ask :)

good luck with the challenge!

well there's an amazing "approaching serie B" post at page 4 (post 91) (H)

Serie B is tough indeed, the key is always try to get better players and learn to play around with match strategies and shouts during every game. Every match is a battle in serie B...

am not aloud to manage the san marino national team ,,, wat do i have to do ? please...

Thanks :)

Due to my poor form in the Serie A I just became to frustrated and decided to start my career over. I made it in to Serie A directly without any struggle: Serie B was a breeze and won it with a couple games to spare.

Ever since I was promoted to Serie A the team has been improving well. In 2013/2014 I finished 14th; in 2014/2015 I finished 10th and 2015/2016 I finished 8th and got to the Italian Cup Final, but lost to Juve 2-0 :(
2014/2015 Team that finished 8th

I've just started the 2016/2017 season, and because I got into the cup final and juve were in the champions league, I got in to the europa league... so more cash for the club (H). In the summer I made some MAJOR signings like: Nigel De Jong, Robin van Persie, Philip Lahm, Marco Amelia, Pepe... and Balotelli!!!

I also signed some quality regens

So my team now looks something like this

You started over when you already reached serie A!? How do you find the patience and motivation :D

Your new career looks amazing, you have a great squad and I think you'll soon achieve big things...

Me, I'm going to post a big update soon, and I'm afraid it will be my last: I've had some great success, but frustration has been greater and has nothing to do with results...

Hello all,

After being inspired by this thread, I started, like many others, my own San Marino game.

Really enjoying it, second season in Serie B after consecutive promotions. Looking to go for promotion this time around.

I am yet to take control of the national team but was browsing through them and noticed this:

HOLLAND??

Season 2015/2016: Serie A and Champions' League

Third season in Serie A, and first in European competitions after a surprising 2nd place in previous year.

Beside confirming the backbone of our succesful squad we were able to add a few valuable free agents (most notably Lassana Diarra, Cristian Ansaldi and David Alaba) and some very promising regens as well. Our youth setup finally produced an interesting prospect in the afore-mentioned Claudio Corioni, an all-around sammarinese midfielder expected to be the NT brightest star for the next 15 years (well at least I was expecting that...)

Our goal was to consolidate our status as league contenders while learning from our very first experience in Champions' league.

Some Serie A samples:

Yeah you got that right, it's SCUDETTO!

And what about Champions League? Well our trademark, amazing home form led us to a fantastic run in our European début.

The win against Real Madrid will go down in San Marino history (not football) books. We were a bit unlucky in the Final against the "other" Madrid, but tbh we already had our fair share of good luck against Bayern and Shakhtar, can't really complain.

Despite an injury-plagued season Marco Verratti was able to retain the Fans' Player Of the Year once again (that's three in a row) thus earning an iconic status in club's history (like me as a manager!). He also won the Serie A Italian Player Of the Year, while wonderkid regen Abubakar John was voted Defender Of the Year at just 20 years of age.

As this will most likely be my last update (frustration has just exceeded success, and hasn't anything to do with results) I thought I'd post the main players of this fantastic season as a final tribute. Here are the heroes of Scudetto:

Hopefully other people will continue this challenge and keep posting their updates in this thread, and maybe take the NT to succes as well (Monfils I'm counting on you more than anyone!). I'll keep following & posting on this thread, I just lost the passion and motivation to go on with this career, for a number of reasons. Will never delete the save though, and maybe one day...

Started this once again, I just can't get into saves and the same thing happened to my Dnipro after 2 seasons :(

I am having big exam of law theory friday, so can't play anything... will be back soon :D

I need some advice, it took me 7 years to get into Serie A and i'm wondering when the money is going to start flooding in- first season I'm pretty sure I received no TV rights money and so it was a tough season but i managed to keep us up, second season I received 1.6m and am a few games into the season and doing ok.

My worry is, if i get this little money every year, I'm going to be bored very soon. Has anyone else had this problem?

money from TV will increase year by year, and you'll get that through all season (e.g. if you receive 20M euros from TV rights you won't get them all in a day). If you manage to reach european competions then you'll have instant cash (if it's CL, A LOT of cash)

the ability of creating profits out of nowhere is a key for any San Marino manager, personally I used pretty much everything I could: friendlies in New Zealand, co-ownerships, signing free players (especially youngsters) just to sell them away etc. Take a look at the small guides (A,B,C) you can find in this thread (check the OP for links and map of the thread), hopefully they can offer you some advice.
