Im fairly sure changing the TV money to 0 would sort it out but I cant confirm that.

Think we tried it ages ago and it didn't work.. Can't remember.

I don't have FMRTE so I can't change it, which is why I'd like to know if it has been fixed on an update.

Yeah, I tested it a while back. It won't work as you want it to since it would start building from that 0 value, meaning that by the time you reach Serie A, you'd get maybe $10,000 tops. The formula seems to use the prior contract's value, team reputation, and either team performance or change in reputation in the preceding year as its inputs. Unfortunately, no matter how successful you are, it would take dozens and dozens of seasons to overcome the issue of starting at 0.
For anecdotal evidence of this, think about what happens to the default sponsorship when you bring a BSS/BSN team up to the EPL. You could win 3 straight triples in your first 3 years, have a reputation approaching 10,000 and you'd still be lucky to take in more than $7,000,000 in sponsorship the next season - and that's with a starting EPL sponsorship over $1,500,000. Starting at 0 would take forever.

tl;dr using the proper editor will not work how you want it to work.

And what do I need to do to get the national team job?
I've tried countlessly to add new manager+retire+apply for job, i have a continental reputation
but the Sammarinese FA always laugh off my interest and apply some ********

I had the same problem. They even kept appointing the same bloke!

My fix is this: Add a Manager to take control of the National Team then appoint your real manager to the under 21s. Then retire the National Team manager. The NT will re-appoint whoever was there before but keeps you as under 21s manager. Then spend until the winter break owning Serie C2, and try not to lose too badly with your awful under 21 team. When it gets to the winter break do the add manager+retire+apply trick on the National Team. You should be the favourite now and will get the job. :)

I have just started this challenge. But i need some advice. I need a good AML and a AMR. Any suggest ?
And is there a logo pack and a kit for San Marino ? ( Post the link if it's please.)

Try Mohammed Gulraiz of Marco Ingrao for AML, and Sodinha for AMR (Davide Poletti and Marco Villanova who are already at the club are very good in my team too).

As for logos, try using StuW's B'Logos; it covers most teams in the game. Afraid I can't help with the kits though.

Thanks you guy. But Sodinha don't want to join my team so i will do without him.
I think i'll post a screen of the league table and my result when i'll be in october or november.

Just resarted this challenge as i stopped playing my old one and couldn't remember half my team.
A tough start with a couple of draws that should have been wins so brought in a new striker called Giorgio Noviello and he had a pretty sweet debut for the team

Still playing my FM 11 San Marino save, it is far and beyond my favourite save ever.

I think I know the answer to this but if you have started a save without the San Marino league on the database (ie. You are halfway through your first season and you've only just downloaded the Campionato Sammarinese file) is their any way of adding the league to your save? Or will I have to start again if I want the SM league?

you have to start anew i'm afraid, although you can add the file to teh database and not make it activfe then use the add remove league feature to make it playable at a later date.

That's what I feared. I managed to add it ok and I can see it if I start a new game, but it doesn't appear on the Add/Remove league bit on my current save; which obviously makes sense as the SM league wasn't loaded on the database when I started.

I think I'll just carry on, unless others are finding the Campionato Sammarinese particularly useful for the NT? I was just getting a bit frustrated that I can't get reports on virtually any of my Sammarinese as they all play in Campionato Sammarinese or Serie D but I guess if the NT is to become a success it'll be because the club have managed to produce some good regens...

I think it takes a very long time for the regen quality to get to a decent level in the Campionato Sammarinese, but I have seen others get really good regens through gaining nationality through it. This all obviously happens very far into the game and the guy I saw managed to get San Marino into the world cup in about 2050 and he wasnt even playing as San Marino in Italy or a team in the Campionato Sammarinese. So in other words its very beneficial to have but only reaps rewards past 2020 once all the clubs have a professional status.

Hmmm. Now you have made me reconsider restarting. I was thinking it would be more useful in the short term as I could get my NT coaches to scout the Campionato Sammarinese. Just had both first choice CMs injured and it was a pain trying to find replacements to get my squad up to size.

I doubt I'll be able to commit too much time to this for a month or so, so I'll bumble on and maybe restart down the line...

Think I might restart (again) with Campionato Sammarinese included too...Can't hurt I suppose, not got very far into this latest season thanks to uni work.
I'll probably sort it tomorrow once I've handed in the essay that I should be writing right now :P

Is their a Serie D db around? Given most of the San Marino players are about that standard...!
