The Inbetweeners

I love it when Will tells Carly's little brother that his mom and dad are going to be blown up in a terrorist attack, whilst Simon is trying to chat up Carly!

THE movie version of The Inbetweeners has been thrown into chaos by star of the hit comedy series SIMON BIRD.
The speccy actor, who plays "briefcase w*****" Will McKenzie, has stalled on signing the contract because his agents are after more money for his services.

Already signed up ... colleagues Blake, James and Joe

The other lads - BLAKE HARRISON (Neil), JAMES BUCKLEY (Jay) and JOE THOMAS (Simon) - have already put pen to paper to star in a big screen version.
But now Bwark Productions, who are making the film, are calling Simon's bluff by sending out casting notes to find a replacement.
They have yet to decide if the chosen actor will play a new character or take over from Simon, as Will.
A film source said: "The movie is definitely going ahead. It will start shooting in Malia, Crete, later this month and then from November onwards. Simon's agents at Avalon won't accept the offer that Joe, James and Blake have all said they'd accept.
"So Bwark are moving on without Simon to pretty much call his agents' bluff. They sent out casting notes last week to show they are serious."
Shafted

This is a bad move all round. The show works because of the chemistry the four actors have together. Take one out and the whole thing falls apart.
Simon has always seemed really down to earth to me, I just hope this isn't a sign that fame has gone to his head.

The source added: "Simon's agents have always tried to push him as the star of the show and everyone's fed up with it. If some high-profile young actor won the role then Simon won't be in the film.
"Avalon will have to come crawling back to accept the offer.
"It's sad, but he has kind of shafted himself."
The Inbetweeners won the 2009 Bizarre Best TV Show. It also won some lesser recognition from people like Bafta.
A third series, which is already finished, is due to come out later this year. It is the funniest show on the box and it would be a travesty if the film didn't feature the original line-up.
At least there are no plans to change his Mum

"And she rides me like a pornstar"

Love his gay rants. :)

Money grabbing briefcase ******.

Great show. That greedy wee ***** better sign up for the film.

season 3 was confirmed for september on the inbeweeners facebook group. They had pics of season 3 being made so I think its genuine. agree about the movie, you can't have one of them drop out otherwise it all falls apart. Only 1 person I know who doesnt like the show. He says its too immature which is ironic cos hes really immature himself.

oh yer i saw that but this is what iv been hearing these last few days.

Yep, watched it from the start and i love it. Although i haven't watched it for a long while now.

I love that Episode where the Paedo teacher trys it on with Neil, and when Will borrows a tramps shoes just to get into the night club to meet up with the girl. :D

I love Jay, i think he's well funny, a proper wannabe ****!
When they drive past those lads in the bus shelter and Jay shouts something like " Wankerrrrs" and then they hit some traffic and i think the lads from the Bus Shelter come over and start rocking the car, and ask him what did you call us, and in a quiet nervous voice he says "nothing, i didn't say nothing" and when they go away he says something like " i coulda had those lads anyday"

It's been a while since i watched that episode but i think Jay said something like that, correct me if i'm wrong.

But i remember i cracked up laughing and couldn't stop. :D
