Adam Long, the 20 year old centre back who broke into the first team has now gone to Curzon Ashton on loan.

Arkadiusz Malarz, the goalkeeper has left Wigan for 10k pounds to join Ligue 1 club Nimes. Didn't play at all due to the impressive form of Jamie Jones.

Scott Wootton. Not registered in the squad. Out for 3-4 months with a serious injury which effectively rules him out for the rest of the season.

We got in 20 year old goalkeeper Adam Siviter on a free transfer.

We have signed 19 year old winger Oliver Greaves on a free transfer. We have also signed 21 year old left midfielder Cameron Green, 30 year old right back Ben Nunn and 33 year old centre back Ryan Cresswell on free transfers.

Will Keane the 28 year old striker has signed a new 2 year contract with Wigan Athletic. He has been okay this season, had the odd good game. He has been playing deeper in midfield and has excelled there.

Dan Gardner is not registered in the squad, he is a 30 year old midfielder and he is out with a horrific injury for 9-11 months. I hope he can reignite his career.

Jamie Jones injured for 10 days-2 weeks. Not so serious, but significant as he has been exceptional.
