The positives were that I developed Kyle Joseph into a competent League One striker. We had the best defensive record in the league. Jamie Jones was an outstanding goalkeeper and Gavin Massey had a superb season. The negatives were that we did not score enough goals, the end of season form and kind of sub par performances from Zach Clough who was expected to be a key player.
This is my transfer budget for next season. 64.35k pounds. Very less money. The wage budget available has increased slightly though. What we did last season was a bit of a miracle and I will be eyeing up the job centre for a new club now. If nothing materializes I will stay at Wigan. But what I can see is that next season will be quite a challenge with the budget I have currently.
No Universidad de Chile job. The interview process is over. I have applied for some interesting jobs though. I could still stay at Wigan. But I am considering all my options.
