the kid is going to be class even at 16 he looks the real deal

Honestly never seen him play. Everything I read about him reads better by the passing game. Seems a lot like Trent in that his ability is way better than a defenders and he'll ultimately end up further up the pitch. And what he's done this year id ridiculous in itself. L'pool offered for him the end of January so this just adds to them still being real high on him.

But I honestly can't comment on him personally as I've never seen him play.

We tried to sign him last Summer. H wanted to stay at Fulham as he had just started training with the first team, and his brother was there. Was reports a couple weeks back that we would go back in for him. Best mates with Angel Gomes also, always together when on England duty. Will be mega competition for his signiture this Summer. Liverpool or Utd would be good for him.

A year to the day since arguably the greatest of all the great Anfield European nights under the lights against our friends from Dortmund.

So why not ......

nice 1 dont think he will get a reply so what as the **** been saying now

Racially slurring Ross Barkley. Comparing him to an ape. Attacking the City and those of us from here which is par for the course for the shitbag.

All on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the worst day of many our lives that he made a double tragedy out of. Classy as always.

Token gesture suspending him as they chose to run his run his bile yet again. They are all as gutter dwelling as each other.

Superb pod with an absolutely exceptional man. Without whom, as much as anyone, we wouldn't be at the point we are today. Fully befitting hour 20 of ANY football fans time.

8 years ago, after the momentous 20th memorial at the ground, a few of had finally had enough of all the people there for the WRONG reasons. People cheering and taking photies when the players and staff came out. People treating it like a 'day out' and a chance to go to Anfield. Certain prominent family members using the occasion as a personal soapbox to preach on things that are far from solely personal to themselves. Meeting back the pub after continually full of anger to add to the emotions that are at their rawest the 15th even now at everything we'd yet again witnessed. As hard as the club tried, it had turned into a circus sideshow in many respects. So we made the decision to do our own thing. To get back to being what the 15th should be all about. Respectful remembrance of friends needlessly taken. Shared with friends you'd sadly shared the darkest of depths with who understood what you were feeling without having to say anything as they were feeling the exact same. So we got in touch with the Clergy, who have been excessively accommodating in affording us the use of a church to do our thing. And started using St Nicks in town. Which I've always felt is the spiritual home of the City with it's position looking out over the Mersey near the Pier Head. We didn't know what we were doing that first time. Just that it felt right for us to be together, and have a short service with the reading of all the names, and a moment's reflection at 3:06 PM. Which brings me back to the above pod. A good friend, Kevin Sansom (who has a wonderful book among many he's penned, 'Hillsborough Voices', a collection of accounts done in a beautifully respectful and moving way I'd highly recommend); knew Professor Scraton through the fight over the years. And he sent over a hand written piece for Sammo to read out being very regretful he couldn't attend as he would be at the Anfield service. Just perfect, heartfelt words that perfectly tied that first service of ours together and definitively reaffirmed we were doing the right thing for ourselves.

A truly great, GREAT man who whilst he'd never wish to be thought of in these terms the debt of gratitude you feel toward him can't be stressed enough.

We haven't got the use of St Nicholas' with today being Easter Saturday. So we'll join with the HJC. Their service is short and respectful with a few well-chosen words and the reading of the names. The closest to what we've taken to doing that just fits right to remember. Hopefully at 3:06 when my City falls silent, as always seems to uncannily happen on this day, those prophetic radio words from the late, great Peter Jones 28 years ago closing down the BBC radio coverage will be pertinent again ..... ' ..... and the sun shines now.'

Hardest day of every year. God rest.

Thoughts on Ox coming to Anfield if any truth in it?

Given Klopp unusually going out of his way January to dismiss it totally then, I doubt there actually is.

If there was, mixed. On the one hand, I'd be happy to add him to our depth. Quality young attacking player who would fit very nicely in a number of roles. But then you look at his goals and assist return and for all the ability, it leaves a question mark.

Just typical when you miss a game it happens to be the one with one of the best pubs every year for not only great ale but boss scran with it's tandoori barbeque and fantastic curry. Missing 'The Vine' around now.

Interesting to see what we do today. Does he continue for this game with the formation of the last two? Rather he didn't but then provided the personnel s right, which it wasn't the woeful last 30 Bournemouth or first half Stoke, but was the second half last Sunday when we battered them; I can see the virtues of an attacking 3-4-3/ 3-5-1-1/ 5-2-3, call it what you may as it flips, against the rigid 4-4-2 Pulis employs. Who, as much as I dislike his brand of football with a passion, has been playing a lot more football and attacking on the ground this year to be fair to him as he's gotten better players.

West Brom look to be settled in what will be their highest ever PL finish. Not dropping back. Not going forward. And have been up and down and looking like they've packed it in now most games of late. But as Stoke last week, that never really follows when one of the real big boys is in town. But provided the attitude and work ethic matches them, our quality should win out.

We're getting too hung up on Pulis and L'pool in another must win at a 'lesser' side. When with 4 wins and 2 draws the last 6 since we got healthy again, we're actually one of the form sides the league once more.

Another 3 points and another step toward avoiding the qualifier nobody wants.

Up the Pulis Pummeling Reds!
