It's a group. Over 6 games. Back-to-back's with Maribor to come next with Moscow done. Utterly dominated the top 2 teams the group. Scoring will come so no concerns there. Our bad month, that we have every season, now out the way with everyone back and getting more into it by the game bar Lallana.

Europe, and the league for that matter, is sound.

Clubs care because of who else finishes first. And domination means nothing if you don't finish chances
I think Klopp would be more alarmed if we weren't creating chances. Nothing that serious to be worried about, unlike stopping the individual errors leading to goals.

Probably working?

Dunno mate considering Manchester has a bigger unemployment figures than L'pool. :P

Just mad how we're now the airport waiting for a 10 past 3 flight in 50 mins or so and I've not seen one Utd fan all trip. Yer doing 3 days Moscow the main being a long haul. I mean some will be arriving today but there'd of still been your regular travelling lads doing Tue- Thu.

Eh?? All the statistics say otherwise.

Liverpool was ranked as the number one county with the most unemployed households yet again, after also being top between 2006 and 2010.
Middlesborough came in second with Glasgow in third, closely followed by Hartlepool, Blaenau Gwent and Wolverhampton.

Also included in the top ten was North Ayrshire, West Dunbartonshire, Manchester and Nottingham.
In 2015, Liverpool and Hartlepool were the only areas with the fewest working households and highest numbers of unemployed homes.

Not that it's important though.
I was only suggesting it's a midweek game, so most people can't get time off to travel for a few days.

Try looking at the latest figures. Not a few years old ones.

*Helpfull me.

That one is from October 2016 and I also have similar from 2017.
Liverpool has a higher percentage of unemployed households when compared to Manchester.

Who cares though? Not me.
I don't even live in the UK XD

Was just engaging in the conversation and correcting your mistake.

For clarity:
2017 data.

Liverpool: Percentage Of Households That Are Workless 21.7%
Manchester: Percentage Of Households That Are Workless 18.5%

Interesting. You're challenging last months Granada report.

I shall look when I'm fully home. For clarity and everything. I don't post flippantly without being sure what I'm posting on mate. You should know that.

But just for clarity and all, I'll look later and get back to you.

I just googled and got the stats from Nomis, the official labour market statistics. It's not that important and will only go off topic and bore everybody else.
If Nomis are wrong, that's cool?

How was the trip? Any gobshites starting trouble?

Yes please keep it on football. It's what the thread is about. If you want to debate labor market statistics can simply open a thread in general discussion. These subjects always derail a thread because of some mouthy noob, or someone flaming etc etc. You get the gist.

Many thanks :)

Well **** José lad.

Now you're an 'honorary' member the SOS, you're supposed to talk positively about L'pool. Not randomly bring us up to nark yet again when you've not been playing against LFC.

You've not quite got this have yer?

Talking of bellends and fixtures, Sky can go do one with this Arsenal game.

Way to totally bollocks up Chrimbo.

For a narky arl ******, this is a wonderful, emotive piece of writing from Nevin that's brought a tear to my eye and put a big *** smile on my face in equal measure:

https://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2017...-did-so-much-more-than-make-the-people-happy/

I was a toddler that glorious Cup final against the Geordies and then his subsequent, jaw-dropping resignation the summer after. So I sadly never got to experience the one thing I'd give a heck of a lot to of experienced if I could. A game stood the Kop with that man in charge. Often conducting crowd and players alike. Like some crazy mad German fella' of today, he just got us and the City in every way and connected seamlessly like very few outsiders ever have to this unique place they come to call home.

Me Ma has never been that into footie. She's originally from Bradford. Married me Dad and became an 'adopted Scouser.' Got a passing love for the Reds from him. But I'll never forget her letting me jib off school, Friday, October 2, 1981, (some dates never leave you) and going with a few other women, who also wasn't that into footie, on the bus to stand down the road the church West Derby, in the pouring rain, to pay our respects. Which said it all about the effect the fella' had on most everyone, Red or Blue, in this great City. And for the record, EVERY football league club was represented. Such was the man's legacy to the sport.

Everything we are. Everything we've achieved and everything we have yet to experience. We all it most all to him.

Beautiful writing Mike lad.

***** not being at the game. More so when it's Newcastle- L'pool. Probably the most entertaining contest in PL history with a myriad of pure footballing, all-out attacking classics. And then there's the Rafa factor. Always one of the best aways of any season Newcastle. One you defo want to do a weekend.

Danny Sturridge must be salivating at the supply line he's got there.

Realy looking forward to this. Someone's due an absolute walloping off these Reds who've completely dominated most every game they've played this year save for Watford and City. (Which they were when it was 11 against 11.). The goals were flying in pre-City. We know the struggles converting post that game. But Septembers done. New month. Let's take it out on the Geordies and give a side the licking our play this year has more than deserved. Score early and undo Rafa's defensive game-plan.

Fancy L'pool 3 or 4 this avvi.

Up the Headed Back the Top 4 Reds!

and yet the only stat you were ahead on , at the time of the red, was shot off target. lol.

This should be a mullering though, Newcastle are all kinds of *****. C'mon Salah I need the FF points!

****, i thought Mane was back next week, i already used my transfer. Bollox.

You might want to take a look back at that my friend. About the only key stat we were behind on was the scoreline. Otamendi had just gone to a booking (and would of walked if Salah had gone down who had him on toast), and we'd just missed two gilt-edged chances. That 20 minute period prior to Moss intervening we had you all over the place.

But he did and that's past.

*Edit* Oh the empty blue seats and boos the end. (Everton just now. Not City.).

Red Ron is taking them from one disaster to another.

LOVE IT! (H)

You were ahead on shots 7-6 at the time of the red card and bookings 2-1. Nowt else though..

Can you have Salah bag a hat-trick today please... (the real important stuff) 'Castle suck.

Aww don't me go looking back wkd. We did that after the game and about the only thing we weren't was the one that mattered. The scoreline. You were rocking before Moss interveined but it's now immaterial and past.

Onto today .....

How can anyone not like Rafa? I mean I don't care for his safety first, 'we start with a point. The very least we can do is finish with a point and anything else is a bonus' philosophy on footie that used to bore the living **** out of yer at times. But the blokes a genuinely top fella.
