What has happened to Naby btw Scouse/lads? Saw my Liverpool mate share this:

"Despite talks of the Guinean underperforming at Liverpool, Naby Keïta is near enough matching his stats from his time at RB Leipzig. [@DistanceCovered]"

and I was just like; "that's not a good thing mate lol" in reply.

Nothing mate save for him both playing a slightly different role to his tine at RBL and taking his time to learn and adapt.

Posted on that up the page.

Yanno who was classed as the worst La Liga signing of the season after a difficult first year in Madrid? Who also coinicidently had to adapt his position at Real? Luca Modric.

Sometimes things take time and longer than people just seeing a fee and hype from him dominating the Bundesliga expect.

If it takes into next year to see the best of Naby’s unique two-way talent it’ll be more than worth the wait.

For once, is rite UEFA!

Muller out of both legs for attempting to decapitate the Ajax lad.

Madly, Munich are appealing. Presumably on the grounds his head is still intact with his body!

Advantage Bayern. Been poor when I’ve seen him the past couple years. Doesn’t suit this recent trend of low blocks at all.

Wasn’t Keita the one who was touted on this very thread as a combination of Iniesta and Kante? I rest my case.

Pogba and Kante was it not? Anyway, he’s been a LOT worse than Pogba was in his first season, but not getting half the coverage. It’s not like he was signed for 20M either...

Do expect him to come good though.

It is funny how you don't see him between wind up posts tbf lol

They're absolutely right. It was clearly accidental. Straight red was fair but extending the ban is completely unfair.

What case? You’ve literally just repeated what someone said and then said I rest my case

Isn’t it? Although it never goes unoticed wherever he pops up.

I just can’t be arsed half the time as it leads to a pety back and forth. As this no doubt will.

Every so often they’ll be a point you can agree with but it’s few and far between. Along with the Utd lad who just see’s any comment from a Scouser as some sort of personal afront, he’s about the only person you can’t have a priper conversation with.

Being as he’s the current hot topic of conversation, to add to what I posted the other day, a couple of informative pieces on Keita’s first 6 months. He’s been far from bad. Just ‘meh’ outside 2/3 standout games as he learns and adapts.

A detailed statiatical breakdown from yesterday-

And some good observations on the slightly different role from what he had at RBL from Tuesday-

Never realised van Dijk’s the first defender in nearly 6 years to win player of the month. Quite the duration.

Well that was just as Brighton wanted it. Dull. Nonetheless another well deserved and vital 3 points. Like Rafa’s Reds, as soon as these go one up you know 99% of the time the W’s in the bag and you can all but go home. And Messi-Mo the match winner, and best player on the park yet again.

Pressure heaped back on City.

Good Saturday. Now for an even more dull family meal to attend. But at least it comes with the bonus of winding blues up.

22 down. 7 clear. 16 to go. This is fun.

Up the ‘crisis? WHAT crisis?’ Reds!
