Taa now joins Gomez on the sidelines, makes loaning arguably the best debuty RB in the lague out even stranger.
It would if he was part of the match day squad and not anywhere near it mate.
Let’s not kid ourselves. He was a third choice, at best, RB who’s already played more minutes at Bournemouth his first two games than he has here all this season.
Clynes best out at Bournemouth for all partys. Not least Nathaniel himself and his totally stagnated career here. Can’t legislate for injuries bud and its unfair to keep a player of that ilk sat twiddling his thumbs on his couch every Sat’day just in case they occur.
Not ideal Trent being out but nottin to unduly worry about. Quite a few sound options there. Milner could slot in Sat’day. Or Fabinho if Matiip returns. Then JMG’s looking at being back (hopefully) for Leicester the end of the
month who’s as good a RB as anyone we have. At worst both he and Lovren will be back February.
Next man up!
Not personally worried here at all the depth we have and lads returning from injury.
As a sidenote, even accounting for Brighton’s refusal to attack Sat’day (NO shots on target. At home. I didn’t think that was even possible in a pro. game!), Fabinho proved his versatile worth yet again with another super display. This time at CH. Such an intelligent footballer who’s getting better each game the more he learns. (Why there’s no panic over Keita. Players taking time to adjust and fully get everything down under Klopp whilst he holds them out until they are ready is becoming perfectly acceptable now regardless of the price. At least by rational L’pool supporters who do have paitience.).
Real happy we spent a year working on that one to get it done so early the summer and not have him end up at City replacing Fernandinho down the line.
