Sweet. Great move for all parties from a strange, if wholly beneficial exercise for all parties his time here/

All the best in Glasgow mate. Not many bigger clubs going to ply your trade. 🤞🏻🤞🏻you and your new compadres get through the qualifier and we pull you in the groups.

Anything to make this nightmare scenario of 3 Euro aways by the start of November easier.

4 first team departures down. Hopefully Nat's next on the slate.

Blasphemy.

YAY! Finally a pre-season game you can watch live at a reasonable time with the RBL match this tea-time . 🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼

Leipzig, then onto an Austria camp to fine tune everything for the Charity Shield curtain raiser a week on Saturday.

Proper happy to see the two Red Bull games on the slate. Aside from Leipzig and Salzburg being superb pre-season aways (*cursing the lack of holidays currently personally 😡), it's never a bad thing at all to maintain a healthy relationship with an operation that produces as much talent as that football group does.

Bar Alisson back in nets and maybe one of the other two alongside big Virg, that's exactly what I'm expecting to start the season.

Big week's hard work left of putting the finishing touches to everything before the CS curtain raiser.

Starting with the latest 'open training session' against RBL.

UTR! FTT!!!!!

Well that was a fun way to spend a Thursday tea-time aye?

With the usual caveat of it just being a friendly kick-around with the result meaning precisely nothing/ just another extended training exercise …..

Only one man to start with …..

I wonder if all the opposition divvies, who’s silly little heads Darwin has been living rent-free in, will be making up any compilation highlights of that? 45 mins work. 23 minute hatty. 4 goals by the end of it. His burgeoning understanding with Trent and Mo in particular continuing to grow as he noticeably, again, pulled more to the right than the left he killed players on at Benfica ….. Just a constant menace who’s gonna’ be an absolute star here.

Up the Uruguayan Lukaku! Soz abar us he’s not at your club! Pure out and out # 9.

Another major step up from the first two games. Loved we kept the intensity up for the full 90. Really good hour for 7 players. Good 45 for 4 more. Some super cameo’s the last half hour from the younger guys. Bajcetic doing his future no harm at all again. Mentioned him a lot as a standout for the 23's last year. Interesting that they are using him as a 6 like his step up in ages from the CH role he was at 18's level. Whether that's through a physical aspect or just his intelligence/ composure on the ball I don't know but his versatility is a joy to watch develop. Harvey continuing his great pre-season form. Carvalho continuing to leave you drooling with whats to cone. All marshalled superbly by Hendo and Milly’s leadership. Team shape that bit tighter again. The press becoming more coordinated by the game. Looking sharper by the game.

Now to over to the gorgeous setting of Austria to really hammer home this last week of prep. to set things up for another mighty season of Liverpool football. Then ......

All the best City. 9 more days before the first leg of the quintuple!

The ONLY downside tonight was lamenting missing Leipzig the other year. Would have been a boss trip. To a boss looking City. With a game in a boss stadium that sounds great when its full ….. BTARD COVID!!!!! 🤬

Uo the pre-season purring Reds! FTT!!!!!

One of the most important people on the books.

To fix Naby and Matip's core health issues alone ..... miracle worker!

From 2 seasons back, but an interesting read on Dr. Schlumberger's initial role at the club, along with the different medical/ fitness/ sports science depts. and the interaction there in, regarding the anatomy of rehabilitation of injured players and everything that factors into it.

Aww man. Really sad to read. 😢Just weeks after his wife passed too. Rapid decline.

PROPER Liverpudlian. Really nice bloke and a true Red.

God rest.
What is your opinion on his tenure? Seems like a true red but we did fall behind under his tenure and the whole DIC plus Hicks & Gillete did leave a sour taste overall.

His heart was always in the right place and he was a proper nice fella’ who always had time for everyone. Been in his company a few times to testify to that and never bought a drink haha.

I think he always deeply regretted being ill-advised bu Parry in selling to dumb and dumber. The family just never had the major finances when football finances really moved up a notch. If he had a fault, it was in being too loyal to some great reds that needed moving on long before they did.

But his heart was always in the right place. Can’t really say much negative on him or the Moores family. They done great for both clubs over the years.

Sad loss.
