He’s another one.

What is it with ex-Reds who should be legends but are just A1 gobshites who chat utter F wham for attention on us? Carragher, Murphy, Hamann ..,.. the list is endless of ex players who are proper 🔔ends.

You need the context of previous and what their agenda actually is before slatting Jurgen for retorting in kind.

It's good to know Manchester United aren't the only club with a bunch of 🐓 for former players. Mind you they are all from the same era...

Preverbal game of two halves last night where you just couldn’t believe how we were drawing with utter garbage like Rangers at HT. To having a completely different feeling at FT. One that has you looking forward with relish to an all but guaranteed knock-out slot in February/ March. (Side note- Brugge please. Not because its a perceived ’easier’ tie on the pitch. I’ll take ’ANYONE’ in Europe over 2-legs. And there’s absolutely NO way anyone would want us. But because Brugge would be another superb European away. Albeit a very messy one on Belgium beer for a few days haha.

Talking of, that didn’t feel like a Euro away last night having drove there and back. And it certainly doesn’t right now with the prospect of a LONG work day ahead with copious amounts of coffee needed. Didn’t help having to hop the metro from the ground back into the centre to pick the tickets up either. I mean it was in and out like given they’d dropped that to just 400. (Bar the three time ID check which was mad.). But its the inconvenience of a going out of your way for no real justification. Which is far worse on an ‘actual’ Euro away in Europe. The club needs to understand that’s peoples holidays and they can’t be eating into them with this bollocks.
Glasgow was sound as always the few hours I had in town but still, not flying anywhere alone just didn’t have the feel of a Euro away to it.

But then theres these much maligned Reds. Those infuriatingly inconsistent, but superbly brilliant still team of ours that after a first half when they couldn’t sting 2 passes together and keep hold of the ball, came out like a completely different animal and destroyed a hapless Rangers side. Side note- Amusing for the same folk on SM who were claiming we could well not beat them to now be adding the context of ’Well it was only Rangers and they are P poor! City is the one!’All true like, but when you push the former before the game, you sound like the complete agenda filled divvy you are after when you acream the latter. 🤦‍♂️

Bar Tsimikas again showing why he’s a back-up at beat and nowhere near Andy Robbo’s level, and a few iffy touches from Darwin, that was overall a superb display from every last one of them. And the longer the game rolled, with both naturally ropey to start after so long out, JMG and Konate had the defence looking far more solid. Joes assist was Trent-esq too to add to a really good showing in context. And funny how Mo is a completely different animal aye when he’s played closer to goal and not isolated on the touchline with 3 or 4 marking him out of a game! Word to the VERY unwise- Write Mo Salah off at your peril! Absolute World class genius at work the time he was on the park. Taking out his frustrated vengeance on poor Rangers and adding more records to his name. That’s now 267 games for this club with 226 goal involvements. Which is beyond phenomenal And he’s been involved in more goals this season than any other L’pool player. And any player all comps in the league not called de Bruyne or Haaland. But he’s washed up and finished right or whatever the latest narrative is. 🤦‍♂️ And a massive shout out to Harvey. Biggest cheer/ celebration of the night when his goal stood. Super performance from one so young on the biggest stage of all.

So what felt foreign (no pun intended) for a Euro away turned into a pretty superb night with a bouncing away end taking the preverbal out of the flag ******** meffs.

Onto City. I’m hesitant to say we’re ready. But after last night, we’re far more ready than we where before the game!

Up the knock-out bound Reds! FTT!!!!

Pep knows.

The whole of football knows.

Now we need to start showing it again. Hopefully, handing Glasgow Rangers their heaviest home defeat in their storied history at Ibrox this past week will be the springboard to that end.

Roll on tomorrow avvy and another titanic tussle between two teams that have a rivalry for the ages going on.

Can

Not

WAIT!!!!!

When it rains, it POURS! *Sighs.

But that is and always will be football. Injuries happen.

Next man up!

When you wake up to the sun shinning, on a crisp autumn morning, and you’re absolutely buzzing at the prospect ahead of a wild Anfield, set for a belter game between the two best sides in World football, regardless of form, who have had literally nothing separating them over the past 4 seasons; then your life is pretty BOSS!!!!!

Throw in the mighty Reds taking a major step forward in returning to themselves Wednesday at just the right time before City, and you’re left salivating in anticipation at the prospect ahead ….. Is it 4:30 PM already?!!!!!

Straight into these Redmen. We’ve some catching up to do!

Never been more proud. That was pure grit against another appalling ref performance week wide again. My motm the man the myth the legend. Gomez

What another absolutely boss day out at the match with Jurgens historically brilliant gang of Reds. I honestly don't know what's giving me the greatest pleasure right now .....

The absolute low life shitbags that follow City having their whole week ruined until they next play by the mighty Reds.

The arrogant set of entitled babies they follow being proper humbled by a club that does it the right way. For the SECOND time this season.

Or the similarly entitled gobshites who pertain to be L'pool 'fans' (STOP laughing at the back) being, one would hope, similarly humbled, and no less highly embarrassed, after calling the manager and his team worse than ***** leading up to the game.

Title Countdown:
3 wins down/ 27 to go.
13 points down/ 82 to go.

The goal scorer Haaland can only dream of matching, who isn't even a CF-
Mo Salah PL Record:-
Games: 189
Goal Involvements: 170
Goals- 121
Assists- 49

Head-to-head wins between the two greatest managers in World football currently-
Jurgen Klopp 12 wins to Pep Guardiola's 9

Let's start with the low life, small time scruffy meffs from Stockport off the pitch-

You must be SO proud of embarrassing yourselves yet again on National TV. Because it's oh so hilariously funny to mock disasters and death isn't it lads? Belting out 'Murderers! Murderers!' about a disaster many of you weren't even born at the time to know exactly what lay behind Heysel. Followed by the Hillsborough slurs of 'Always the victims' and other such classy ditties. Even managing to get some Paris digs in ..... That's TWICE in the past SIX months either L'pool or City have had to put out statements about your gutter dwelling behavior mocking death. And just reading today's, it seems you didn't just stop at singing your bile, but went on to deface the Road End with similar graffiti ..... Tell us again how we are the ones who are utter scum who wreck busses ..... Singing the National Anthem to try wind us up is just an amusing embarrassment that shows what kids you are. Singing about tragedies and trying to point score over death shows what despicable human beings you are who shouldn't be allowed ANYWHERE near a football ground.

We don't even get that to that extent from Utd now. (Who, by the way, continue to P all over you in Manchester and ALWAYS will. You aren't even the biggest club in your own City. Let alone trying to lord it as bigger then LFC just because Arab blood money is (sport) washing through you!). Weren't singing your shithouse garbage when Mo scored were yers? *****!!!!!

Which leads onto the team they follow-

Just how ****** brilliant was it to proper humble them again? And in turn, see there whinny, petulant, feet stamping reaction to not having things there own way! For the second time this season, we bottled up the supposedly unstoppable Haaland and his compadres and came away with a thoroughly deserved victory. You may be able to cheat FFP with rigged sponsorships. But all the money in the World can't buy you the key ingredient you'll NEVER have! A wild, rocking Anfield which suffocates you to the point you can't hear yourself or catch your breath. And the desire and total commitment from every last player in Red, bouncing off that support, that together, as one, can beat all the talent money can put out there. Time and again.

If any player on that pitch today is getting less than a 9, then something is BADLY wrong with the rankings. We were superb from front to back. It'd be remiss to signal out any individuals in such an outstanding team performance but I will ask has Cancelo finally completed his turn to catch Mo yet? (Was that something about only Trent not being able to defend from right full ..... ). Is Haaland out of JMG's back pocket yet? And is that cheating rat Foden off the floor yet to acknowledge the old man did him like a kipper?

I think the only thing worse than the City scum was the officials display. Mainly Anthony Taylor. I don't want to give his disgrace much publicity. Save to say he must have been PROPER annoyed when VAR forced him to go the monitor and change a blatant wrong decision he was within 10-yards of. Practically the ONLY decision he went against City all day. For Guardiola and co to be narking bout the rightly disallowed goal as 'this being Anfield', shows what bitter. sore losers they are. Made even worse after Taylor favored them all afternoon.

So all in all, another absolutely stonkingly brilliant day out with Jurgen and his gang of awesome Reds in a raucous, rocking Anfield from start to finish. Like our German messiah, we NEVER stopped believing!

Roll on Wednesday and we'll do it all again against West Ham as we pick up more steam in making up lost ground to have us battling City come May!

Up the City destroying Reds! AGAIN! FTT!!!!!

Sorry Scouse, was offline as the little one has tonsillitis  Well done on the win the other day.
I bet it was a great day out (don't have time to read through the thread, back to daddy business).

Wonder if Klopp shall continue with Firmino. I just dont see Nunez fitting well in the system. He takes so much space away from Salah and they cant both be making runs into similar space. There is strange dissorientation between them. Hope that u sign him up for new contract, because it will take time for Nunez to fit in if there is no bigger change in the tactics.

Well that was harder work than it should have been. But its safe to say we’ve both got our season dip out of the way early. And are now fully out of it.

Current Unbeaten League Run-

You know what that was? That was a game that wins you a title. When you’re not fully on it. Understandably after the intense physical and mental exertion’s of City just 3 days before. Heck, it drained you as a supporter never mind player.). All in horrid conditions with a biting, swirling wind. When you step it up just enough to get yourself in front, and then you dig in and make sure you find a way to take home all 3 points. I grew up on some of the greatest sides this clubs ever had doing exactly that the ‘70’s/‘80’s in many a game during many a title winning season. And regardless of what happens come May, last night was one of them.

Weird game. Superb for the first 40 mins with West Ham not being able to cope with the intensity coming at them from all angles. Ridiculous penalty award (If that’s deemed a high boot with the lads head that low, just WHAT was the one on the excellent Nunes on the Main Stand touchline? Never looked one in normal play and justice was done with Alisson’s save. Not so superb second half football wise. But superb in another way the way we dug in and made sure we kept another clean sheet to bring home the win.

The obviously pre-planned changes on 57 disrupted us. Thiago had been running the game first half and they couldn’t handle Darwin at all. They were head scratchers but then we’re not privvy to the sport science guys analysis of players levels. So after City, along with what Jurgens said about Darwin feeling a twinge, they obviously needed to make the changes so early they did.

Individually, massive shout out to the old and the new-

With the latter, Nunez is going to be a player isn’t he? He’s just a bit of coaching away from being a complete, unplayable #9. All the traits are there and you are now beginning to see why they were prepared to pay a record fee. Superb movement. Strong as an ox. Rapid. Great instinct to get in positions. Just needs his finishing and control tightening up but we’ve a monster on our hands there. Boss winner too showing his prowess in the air. And he works his backside off for the team. The type of pressing monster we require.

And for the old, take a bow yet again the timeless James Milner. THAT’S why he’s still here and continuing to be SO valuable. Late cameos like that to box off games with his experience and know-how. Superb professionalism to see the game out. And the tattle at the death to keep out the West Ham lad the 6 yard box ….. 😍😍😍

Shout out too to Carvalho who’s looking more and more like he belongs at this level with the passing game. And he’s only going to get better and better as he develops and the more experience he gets. Really good player there like Harvey. And how boss was it to see another top youngster, who is madly maligned, back out on the park in Curtis? Thought he was tidy when he came on and he adds another big option to the midfield ranks. And seeing Oxo-Chambo back in a match-day squad was as satisfying as anything last night.

3 straight wins ticked off for the first time this year. Along with back-to-back league clean sheets. All good building blocks for a solid winning run before the WC break.

A satisfying night all told. Onto Sat’day and renewing our rivalry with the scab btards!

Up the table climbing Reds! FTT!!!!!
