Not sure if you guys think I don't know what the number two means or something. It's just an unusual deal.

Well I'm probably going to get stick for this, but if we buy a top attacker we can win the league

There, i said it.

Mike. says I can't infract you for blind over the top optimism. Just know that if he'd said yes I totally would have. :P

I'd be thrilled with the top four. Definitely can do it, we just need to keep Sturridge fit and firing.

We've got Manquillo on a two season loan. How the **** does that work then?

After the first season they can pay to take him back a year early, if not we have him for another season and have the option to buy him.

I don't expect Liverpool to buy a first class attacker since liverpool never worked that way, they always like to take young talented or not players and trying to make them world-wide players. same thing happened with suarez and torres...so don't expect any big transfers just hope that the new young players will play well!

The same Torres who had matched David Villa for goals in the 2006 World Cup? The same Suarez who starred in the 2010 World Cup?

I'll agree they took another step up with Liverpool, but to say they weren't already world-recognised players is silly. Especially when you follow it up with 'don't expect any big transfers' when both Torres and Suarez broke Liverpool's transfer fees.

Suarez cost 23M and Torres cost 20M and yes they made breakthrough seasons with their clubs and/or national teams and that's why they attracted Liverpool's attention but those money compared to other clubs are too low. What I am saying and might stated it wrong is that Liverpool will never buy a player spending as much as most of the rest teams do, for example will buy young and thirsty players who have already proven that they are talented and will hope to take the team to the top.For example Liverpool strategy as the transfer strategy is at the moment will not spend 40M for reus or canani or anyone else but will pay the same amount for markovic lalana and other players who can also be sold in the future...the only expection in this is Lampert who was bought as back up in the same way was last year free agent toure was bought.

I think he meant world class not world wide. While both Suarez and Torres were well known young talents who already had heaps of ability it was at Liverpool where they turned into world class players.

Starting 11 and depth in midfield and defence is fantastic this season for Liverpool - the only problem as things stand is if Sturridge gets injured

Lambert is a good back-up for a change of plan but in the current system he does not fit

If Borini is sold to Sunderland that will be a net spend of 6m this summer for us.. surely enough there for that striker we're all waiting for.

Ive seen a few people post this and i'm not sure what the relevance is?

Im sure you can also find a video/vine that has a Moreno mistake in

The video is plain about the pace moreno possess. When you can compare him with one of the fastest footballers like alexis that tells a lot.

Just me or did Sanchez not look quick at all versus City?
