It might be wrong to make conclusions from the first game of the season but our defense still seem to have problems when they are under pressure and even though that we scored 2 goals we will have scoring problems with tough teams. only sturridge and lambert on the top, we definetely need one more striker...

You're reading into it too much - Rodgers made a mistake and he will know that playing both Lucas and Gerrard today

Lallana, Markovic, Moreno to come into this side as well as a likely new addition or two
 
Well the next game is at Etihad hope we play much better and with better strategy because if we don't things are gonna get really bad in there.Actually today we started good but after the goal southampton was leader of the game...
 
We weren't too bad today. We proved we can still score goals without Suarez, Sterling was fantastic, Sturridge was mostly invisible but popped up when needed most. Defensively not great but I dislike BR's decision to go with Lucas & Gerrard.. And Johnson was woeful.

Hopefully with Emre Can & Moreno in the team against Man City we should be a lot more solid.

The first game of the season is always the hardest, the main thing is we got three points.
 
Thought Joe Allen was great again when he came on today, he shouldve got the nod ahead of Lucas. Allen always seems to get overlooked by the fans but the reality is that he's as good at pressing the opposition as anyone in the team and thats the main job for him without the ball. Lucas looks so poor and nervous with the ball, just cant do anything other than tackle and pass it 5 yards. Sterling very lively and excellent imo. But MOTM shouldve been Lovren, superb performance and instantly a hit with the fans. Dont even want to talk about Glenjo because theres nothing else to say about him, only got a year left on his contract and it almost certainly wont be renewed. 3 points is the most important thing though, bring on City!

But you have to admit he isn't good enough for us anymore, especially with the wage he gets you would expect a lot more.

His form has been poor but its still the same old case of anything that goes wrong with Liverpool is either Lucas or Johnson's fault

To then go to social media and personally abuse a player for your club is embarrassing
 
I am willing to bet that all those that have slated him have never stepped foot inside a football stadium let alone Anfield. just sit behind a TV or computer screen watching Sky or an illegal stream pretending to be a pundit like Robbie Savage. The way the football fans are turning out is really pathetic nowadays.
 
So only stadium fans can have an opinion about a player or a team?
