to a certain extent yes. but 5 against stoke cannot be blamed on everyone passing to stevie. even you can agree with that.

Oh of course.. It has hugely contributed to the last two performances but the defending today has been utter *****.

I can already hear Rodgers post-match, "I thought our response in the second half was outstanding, we showed real character".
 
This is probably the most hilarious end to a season ever. Only topped by the way you lot ended last season. After the media love-in of Stevie G, to see him leave on the back of Liverpools heaviest defeat in EPL history. Priceless

I suppose the only downside for you is that future wins over Liverpool won't really mean anything unless you score 7 or more goals.

Don't get me wrong, I actually respect Gerrard as a player immensely. But I also don't appreciate Sky being turned in LFC TV for the past 2-3 weeks. Has anyone noticed that another EPL legend Frank Lampard is also leaving at the end of this season? Probably not because the ex-LFC pundits are too busy blowing Gerrard

Just think of it as sympathy. Lampard has won the PL, while Gerrard is playing for a team that just got rekt by Stokealona.
 
Or maybe because Frank had his moment of glory when he left Chelsea last year, he can't have a goodbye every year just because he switches the club.

Also, is it just me , or Gerrard's goal looks like a setup? The defenders are literally stopping so he can score.

Absolute rubbish. This is simply rivals fans wanting to have a moan

Lampard left last season to the MLS and people paid their respect to what a fantastic footballer he had been then. He may have come back on loan to Man City but his farewell has been and gone

they should reimburse the fans hard earned money for that pathetic performance... thats what rodgers should say for his post match interview.

Absolute rubbish? Really. I am not the only one saying it. Anyone with half a brain can see how over the top this whole Gerrard farewell has been. I don't remember Giggs or a Scholes getting anything on this scale either when they bowed out of the game

Of course you are not the only one saying it - Rival fans love a moan at anything

But if it was Super Frank it would all be justified... Gerrard is a legend of the game and deserved all the praise he has received
