Howard Webb has had a shocking game. Made some really poor decisions.

I don't know what football god you ****** off but he's a vengeful ****, I can tell you that. You should at least be level by now.

At least Webb is bottling the big decisions for both teams. That's a positive I guess?

How come Sanogo has free reign to wrestle everyone as well, instead of using his body he just grapples and tugs.

That tackle by Ox on Suarez should have been a peno ... Shocking by Webb

I dont get why keepers punching plays in the face isnt a peno either. Not just commenting on the incident just now, but in general.

Good game, should have won really. Better team, better chances but Arsenal took theirs.

Very poor refereeing display that didn't help either side

Liverpool should have had another pen, Gerrard sent off and Podolski send off. Webb bottled it again for both sides.

Although that Chamberlain/Suarez thing was a clear penalty, the first one wasn't and Gerrard should of been of.

I disagree there was definite contact for the first pen it doesn't matter how minimal it was.

Stevies two mis-timed tackles weren't as bad as Podolskis three bad tackles were.

Absolutely shocking refereeing. I think at one point every single set of supporter from both teams were singing you're not fit to referee. How is this guy going to Brazil?

I think it was a penalty. Suarez made the most of it but Podolski was very foolish to even attempt to win the ball from behind the player in the penalty area

As bad as Howard Webb was, missed chances cost us the game although i can see why so many LFC fans feel aggrieved as the biggest decision (the penalty) would have probably changed the game massively

Su?rez and Sturridge did not look their usual potent selves in the game, that's probably costed us more than Howard Webb's poor decisions. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Sturridge especially.. Missed three really good chances, and that is really unlike him

To be honest, this game's really highlighted a weakness: I reliance on the SAS partnership to provide the goals. Our attacking-midfielders aren't great finishers, and Aspas hasn't really been great when he's been given a chance. Other teams have many players who can finish (Giroud, Cazorla, Ramsey, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain for Arsenal, for example), so it's worrying for us.

I wouldn't look too much into it.. The best players usually score all the goals and since we have two of the better strikers in the world one is likely to score if the other dont

We could definitely improve, but i wouldn't over exaggerate too much on it

Stamping on the back of someone's leg is fine, is it?

Gerrard should have gotten his second yellow, we should have had two pens. Podolski should have been booked. There were loads of decisions that mong Webb ****** up

He didn't stamp on the back of his leg though, he mistimed the tackle just as Suarez moved his leg, and side-footed the side of his leg. It's not enough to even put someone off balance.

That one on Chamberlain was awful, and was probably the worst tackle of the match (apart from the one that should of been given as a penalty). It wasn't mis-timed, he was never anywhere near to getting the ball. Podolski were nowhere near as bad as Gerrard.

And the one I am guessing you are thinking of wasn't actually Podolski, it was Koscielny. Podolski was the nearest player to Suarez after the foul had been given (Which it shouldn't of been), and the commentator said it was Podolski. But if you watch the replays, it was Koscielny that did it, and Podolski that said something to Suarez.

I agree he didn't stamp on his leg but as i said earlier there was enough contact to award a penalty.

Anyways at the end of the day Webb was awful but that's football for you plus we now have a great chance to get 4th or higher which is amazing considering our position this time last year. :D

YNWA!!
