I personally think he should be kept away from the football pitch long enough till he learns to deal with his temperament. This will be good for all parties. Obviously all these bans and public vilification hasn't done anything to change him and I doubt any ban from FIFA will help either. He needs help and keeping him away from the football pitch until he learns to deal with pressure will be good for him, Liverpool and his opponents

I think he does this because of the pressure. At Ajax he bit Bakkal at a very important match, just before he was about to move to Liverpool. I don't know the circumstances when he bit the Chelsea player, but now again he's under huge pressure. He has to carry his team to the next round of the world cup, Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested and he's being named to be top 3 player of the world.

I think that guy has a point, people need to find a solution to his actions. He needs to be banned for x-amount of matches, but shuttling him to another club everytime he bites someone isn't gonna help. It's better to keep him at a place where people know his character and can help him. The price is though you might lose sponsorship for now, but if Suarez keeps up the good form, new sponsors will come back. That's how opportunist the sport world is.

I just want to see what happens when he gets back to England. If he escapes an international ban, I'm almost certain we'll see the same kind of thing that happened to Ronaldo after the infamous wink; Suarez will get vilified and respond by absolutely wrecking any defences that he comes up again. Professional sportsmen are a weird breed that feed off negative energy, and Suarez will be getting nuclear heat.

Di Marzio confirming Shaqiri close, Thompson confirming Sanchez close, Sevilla saying Moreno deal is off and Southampton demanding silly fee's for english players and Suarez rumoured to be leaving

The joys of a Liverpool transfer window

The shitstorm with Ronaldo was relatively less, once it became apparent that Rooney and Ronaldo were willing to bury the hatchet and play together (masterclass move by SAF);; With Suarez, it might not be that simple.. No matter what happens, he'll always be villified by the British media// He actually stated he disliked it, because it also affected his family - the media won't letup on him, since it has become a serial offence now, and he may use it as a reason to actually push for a move away, if he's interested in leaving..

Are people really trying to make out that poor little Luiz has a sad mental illness and is as much a victim as he is a perpetrator? Is there any lines Liverpool fans won't cross in order to take away the malice in his actions and paint him as a terribly tormented soul? He's a ****, pure and simple, which means he deserves to take a hefty ban.

GC is right though: it shouldn't be dependant on some pseudo-psychology or on claims of him turning over a new leaf. That stuff isn't relevant, and keeping him away from the game indefinitely until LFC come out and say: "he's all better now" is stupid. It makes the system far too subjective; the best course of action really is to simply say that it will be an incremental ban, split between club and international football.

The only issue is that these "serious" bans need to actually be serious. If he gets a 6 game ban from international football only, it will be an absolute joke. It's gone beyond "a player losing his cool" now and turned into an issue of sustained violent activity. The punishment has to scale with his history and his apparent lack of any remorse or contrition.

On an actual footballing note, Shaqiri, Sterling and Sanchez, behind Sturridge, is a pretty terrifying thought even if Suarez does leave. (so much s)

Problem is with Shaqiri, he's very hot and cold.... he'll have a blinding game... but then be un-noticable for the next few.

Heh. Of those, I'd imagine Shaqiri is likely, Sanchez much less so, Moreno seems likely (pending a raised offer if necessary) and as for Suarez... well, it's anyone's guess.

True, true. I still reckon the furore around Ronaldo - and crowd reactions, lest we forget - was greater, but it was mostly fuelled by the fact that it was knocking England out. Suarez' latest actions have nothing to do with England really, so it's a toss-up. No idea how it's going to pan out.

Utterly terrifying. What's even scarier is that its such a young set too: Sanchez is the eldest at 25, for goodness sakes.

Still young though, only 22. Got plenty of time to develop that consistency. Ronaldo at that age was just a year removed from his massively inconsistent days.

Yeh undoubtedly so, actually I didn't realise he was that young.. thought he was like 25/26.

Why have the SaS when we could have the SASASAS?

I'm sure the press would find some way to make it into SS SS, revealing Suarez' secret shame: that he's a double ****! For shame, ruining your club's legacy with a player like that, for shame!

Know where all the Nazis ran after WWII? Argentina. Know where Argentina's close to? Uruguay. Remember Suarez is a definite and complete racist who hates all racial minorities?

Suarez is confirmed as the grandchild of Hitler.

I wouldnt mind so much having options such as Sterling, Shaqiri, Sanchez, Sturridge, Lambert, Origi (future)

If we could spend the rest of the Suarez money and budget to strengthen the defence and midfield with the likes of Moreno, a CB and also a defensive mid on the Javi Martinez mould, i would be very happy

But if Suarez does go, we HAVE to get it right with the money. It's essential

We can go deeper. If Suarez really is Hitler's grandchild, then there's been a national conspiracy to cover it up. Just like there's a national conspiracy to cover up the slaughter of the Uruguayan sea turtles. Suarez playing in England, a culture so unlike his own, you could say that he was a fish out of water. Out of water... Not sea turtles, land turtles. Land turtles that would seem strange and bizarre to us, mutated even. Mutated turtles. Football players are young too: it's one of the youngest professions. Young, mutated turtles. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now the TMNT are named after famous Renaissance artists, from iItaly. Suarez committed his latest hate crime vs Italy. Italy, the birthplace of the pizza. Pizza, a dish invented in Naples. Naples, the former home of Napoli stars Cavani and Lavezzi. Cavani and Lavezzi, an Argentine and a Uruguayan working together in a dastardly partnership. Ah yes, it's all making sense now. Those two serve PSG, a French group with Qatari investment. Qatar, the corrupt home of the 2022 bid. 2022 the proposed date for the first amateur mission to Mars. Mars, mars, mars. It's all making sense now. Those people going up in 2022 will be the first of their kind to go up. The first animals to be sent into space were fruit flys. Fruit flys, insects that infest fruit. Fruit, like Oranges. Oranges, like those shown in The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange. The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, a show voiced by Rob Paulson. Rob Paulson, a primary voice actor for a popular tv show. That popular TV show centred around a buck tooth rat character, and was clearly designed to endear a generation of children to this beast. Shown from 1993-96, it would have been on at the perfect time to indoctrinate the new generation of football fans. That show, Biker Mice From Mars.

Suarez confirmed Biker Mouse from Mars...

I blame Mourinho.
