MASSIVE game today. This is another hurdle that needs to be overcome we've struggled with. Winning games immediately after European games. Not that we deserved to lose, but even Jürgens first loss was Palace straight after the trip to Kazan.

3 wins in a week would be massive right now. City was beyond awesome and for the first time made a lot of folk that have been laughing at how ecstatic we are and how idolised he's become among Liverpudlians sit up and take notice to what we believe. Bordeaux was another step in coming from behind to win at home. A more professionally comfortable than spectacular win. And now we have a Swansea side bang out of form that we need to be overturning at Anfield. And one who'll come and play football which will suit us rather than sitting deep and frustrating which we've struggled with for long enough at home.

We still need to hammer someone at Anfield we should to get that monkey off our back again finally, but I'll happily take a scrappy 1-0 to get points on the board.

Moving into the very busy two games a week Chrimbo period with Europe put to bed in two weeks where the likes of Leicester should start to drop off and the top clubs with stronger squads pulling away. And we've an excellent run of fixtures to be right up there in that pack as we keep progressing forward. But the excellent away form needs to be transitioned into the home form and not have frustrating and costly blips like Palace/ Norwich et all.

So lets start that today.

Sorry lid. Just seen this. Been in Burton today, which is one frigging boss drinking town, for a new ground and I'm absolutely ballooned lol.

Sure. I'll do that NP. What's yer FC like credit wise?

My card is **** mate. Didn't record any games for years on my card, I was just going when my cousin offered his ticket which got me about 10 games a season so I just settled for that. Only started stacking my FC this season.

Ugh. Right. This FC system is a pain in the **** as you know until you've started building it up and the chances get less to do that quickly the more people have one. The initial home league sales they start at 8 from the previous season I think it is. But hopefully things will drop and you can get in there and add as we go/ you can afford.

Away's are an even bigger pain in the **** to get on the ladder. Southampton Wednesday for example started on having to have 5 or more of previous Leg Cup games at either Exeter/ Brighton/ Stoke/ Chelsea or City in 2011/12; West Brom or Utd in '13/14; or Bournemouth and Chelsea last year.

I'm all for rewarding loyalty but it's hard to stock up your credits from scratch now. Just got to add when you can.

Sure, I'll let you know when the selling dates are in advance that you can get add. Might even be able to help out if you couldn't afford say to get a ticket regardless off your card so at least it would be credited. Chances are I could always shift the ticket. Let me get back to you on that.

And people think following a major club is easy .....

Don't forget it was Monk and Swansea who figured out Rodgers' wing back formation last season and gave LVG the perfect blueprint. They are an admirable side and good technically but I'm sure if Monk thinks they have a better chance against us playing long ball football then that's what they'll do.

Doesn't mean that anything less than a win is likely a disappointing result

Never seen Monk like that. He strikes me like Howe down at Bournemouth that won't sacrifice playing football and will always come out and attack.

What I find amusing is the 'pressure' he's currently under in South Wales. I get that's a symptom of the modern day, transient, 'what have you done for me lately?' game. Allied to how he's taken the club on from what Martinez, Sousa, Rodgers and Laudrup built up to their highest ever league finish last season. But when all said and done, this is Swansea frigging City. This is only their fifth season in the top flight in over a 100 years football. Just WTF do people expect?

Can definitely agree with you there, can't believe people are talking of sacking him. He's done a fantastic job and they'd be mad to get rid of him after a form slump. They were dismantling teams like Chelsea - yes, it was a draw, but they were the better side - and Man U a couple of months back, I hope they wait until next weekend to return to that kind of form though!

Cheers mate. Would you recommend I get at least 8 home league games under my belt this season then? I think I've only been to a couple. I'll have to check when I get in.

And cheers for the offer on getting tickets. Will most likely take you up on that sooner or later haha.

Yeah. The more credits you can get on and keep on the better. I feel ya' man. Not easy at all trying to build up a FC.

You'd hope they'd make more seats more accessible the more the capacity get's increased but we'll see.

Henderson and Sturridge on the bench. There's a pleasant surprise.

Figured Allen would come in for Lucas but liking just dropping Milner back alongside Can with the attacking 4 at home.

Match their intensity and your class will tell Redmen.

Excellent start to the day with the two easy draws.

Now for L'pool and (hopefully) Norwich to add.

How priceless would it of been to of been a fly on the wall between Klopp and Sturridge when the x-ray came back negative? XD.

It would have certainly been interesting... But i am also not having this play through pain rubbish with everyone suddenly becoming doctors and knowing it's not a proper injury

As annoying as it is him being injured, it's wrong to accuse him of faking it which to an extent most are doing

I certainly wouldn't go that far but when his own manager flat out called him out on it last week it certainly leads to him being mentally weak in that respect.

Hopefully will do him good to realise as good as he is, he's no longer a guaranteed part of the XI and won't get back in there if he's not prepared to lay it all in the line. The same as every other player.

Too many touches, by the time were facing them in the final third they can get back into positions.

Frustrating half. Good work rate and possession but not quite there with the final touch. Half chances but nothing really substantial. Looked a decent shout for a penalty on Benteke without seeing it back. And there was clearance onto the post. But has either 'keeper made a serious save yet?

Need to step it up quite a bit second half boys. Arsenal drawing so that's another bonus.
