Apparently Jerome Sinclair won't be signing new contract and will leave on free transfer in the summer. Also he is looking to move to Spain which means Liverpool will get very very less tribunal fee (Domestic one would have fetched you nicer fee).

Also there is no prize for guessing his agent. Yeah, the same one with Sterling.

Advising 19 year old striker to move, especially to foreign country where everything might go **** up just for bigger signing on fee looks incredibly stupid. Heard he is highly rated youngster.

Yeah, soon as he appointed Ward the back end of the year that was always likely to be the beginning of the end.

Not sure how high up he'd of eventually played, but he should at worst have a very good Championship/ lower end Premiership career. Looked very promising U'18/ U'21 level for what that's worth. Only seen him live three times. Exeter the other week and West Brom a few ears back the league cup. And the last pre-season this year at Morcambe (L'pool XI) when both he and Ojo came off the bench and love ones a cut above anything else on the pitch. Which was seasoned between pros when it came to Morcambe.

Kids a goal scorer and would be better served continuing his development here but that Ward thing ***** everything with us.

I would not be so sure in that. First time it seemed like why he didint took it. But from replay the slide he made when the ball hit the post was moment he could not get back up so fast and react to strong hit. No blame to Mignolet here.

The time Rooney took to take the ball down and shoot was more than enough for a GK to stand back up after falling down to one knee.

Oh come on now. You know how I feel about Simon Flapalot, but that goal wasn't on him. Yes, De Gea did get back up, but he only had a floater to defend. Mignolet had a point-blank power volley. No goalkeeper in the world would have saved that. The only person in history who could possibly, maaaaaybe, pull it off is peak Casillas, with his monkey-like agility and superhuman reflexes.

Reckon he can keep a clean sheet Wednesday? (Rhetorical. We'll need 2 regardless.).

Grobbelaar. Not saying he'd of saved that, just the first name that came to mind when you said 'monkey-like agility.'

He was a complete frigging loon, but I've never seen a 'keeper as agile who could spring like Brucie could. Some of the contortions through the air he put his body in to get to things defied belief.

I wasn't. I felt the summer regardless of Van Gaal, your squad was the most realistic to look at replacing the top 4 for us. (Obviously never envisioned Chelsea collapsing.). Seen nothing to change that.

But hey, what would I know. Redoing up apparently most of our first XI is set and being as the previous manager spent big everything should be good as this is nothing like the rebuild Van Gaal had on his hands so yer know. Shrugs.
You won't see anything now to change your opinion obviously. Remember van Gaal's rebuild is for the future.

Let's just get our injuries back first of all.

Hey, you've got your manager back on the title crusade talk after yesterday.

Which as absurd as that sounds to all intents and purposes, this season, with this league being as **** poor as it is even at the very top end; wouldn't surprise you at all.

Lot of talk on Swansea fixing to bid for the Welsh Xavi/ Pirlo/ insert funniest name you can tag him with.

Can't believe I'm actually going to say this, but I'm not sure we can afford to let him go, as much as he needs gone, right now.

He's wank. But he's an experienced body wank.

Oh FFS. Just realised if Ward can't play, Caulker can't play Wednesday either.

Frigging archaic FA laws.

Don't think that will happen tho. If Fergie were still manager, we would've wrapped up the title by now.

The goal wasn't on him, but that doesn't mean he did all he could. He has no business going to ground in that situation, that's undeniable. And to be fair, I think quite a few goalkeepers could've saved that - not so much because of reaction time and agility, but due to positioning and luck. If you anticipate the rebound instead of diving to the ground when the ball is NOWHERE near the ground, then at least you stand a chance.

But in the end it doesn't really matter who we point the finger at. Mignolet, Lucas, Henderson, or even Klopp. It's pointless, because it's a team problem that's existed for years and the next time it'll be a different scapegoat. Klopp needs to figure this **** out ASAP, because Rodgers sure as **** couldn't. Every team knows now that you only have to get a few set pieces against us, and there's a pretty decent chance of grabbing a goal or two. That's unacceptable.

Unacceptable isn't the word.

If there's one nark I do have with Klopp, it's the continued, amateur B/S every frigging set piece. Are our players that bleedin' dense that they can't take the defensive coaching we know they're now getting on board? And why are we STILL coaching them to have nobody on the posts and every ******* man back the area? For all the game has changed in all sorts of what's, I'd argue with anyone that basic, fundamental principles from a corner haven't if you want to defend them properly. You put men on the posts, mark the runners, and have one if not 2 men ready for the clearance outside your box. Which also forces them to drop 2 or 3 back, in turn limiting the numbers attacking. I's basic defending 1-0-1 that WAY too many coaches get away from today. Ourselves included.

Beyond completely unacceptable for the same, fundamental mistakes to happen game in, year out.

Best get some frigging monster centre-halves in now who are unbeatable in the air ala what he did in Dortmund with the average 'keeper he had there. Presume that's the thinking. Can't even put it down to safeguarding ourselves given the length of contact which undoubtably has a bump in pay.

First mistake ..... scrap that ..... first MAJOR mistake of the Klopp era.

Frigging idiots.

This hurts way more than the United defeat. Sounds ridiculous, but I'm thinking long-term. All our rivals will be rejoicing over this, while most of us are pinching ourselves hoping to wake up. I honestly can't fathom how on earth Mignolet warrants a renewal, he hasn't done ANYTHING to deserve it.
