They looked very average last night. We should have took advantage of that.
The last bit I agree with, not seen them play that badly for a while. You should have been at least 2 to the good.
They looked very average last night. We should have took advantage of that.
Villarreal are anything but average...
This was obviously based on last night alone, i should have been more clearer.
I haven't been watching Liverpool and felt that comfortable for a while. It seemed a very easy game which is why it's so frustrating we ended up losing it
Same can be said about Liverpool. They hardly tested Villarreal keeper. Remember one good shot by Firmino and that's it. Villarreal looked very comfortable dealing with your attack.
Away side in a European semi 1st leg - I think we executed a gameplan very well until the 91st minute haha.
Joe Allen should have scored, Moreno had a very good chance and Firmino hit the post. A 0-0 suited us very well, it's just a shame we switched off right at the end
Arsene Wenger tells Arsenal fans: Be more like Liverpool - Liverpool Echo
This is gold. "I know we should've won the title this year, but can you please be better supporters?"
He said be like Liverpool and suipport manager but they didn't when things went bad with Rodgers, only after managerial change Liverpool fans are happy.
Liverpool reminded me of United under LVG and not in a good way.
Controlled in the first 2/3rds of the pitch, toothless in the final third. Let's hope it doesnt burn you like it did us
Nah you should have pushed on, and you could have won that game relatively well.
Too cautious, and without reason tbh. Got to win by 2 because i'll be amazed if they dont get one at your place
No, he said be like Liverpool and support the team. And as much as I know you like to grab any chance you get to throw jabs at Liverpool on any level conceivable, Rodgers never won the league for us like Wenger has done for Arsenal. But even that is irrelevant; Rodgers has nothing to do with this.
Jab at Liverpool? Getting more defensive day by day.
Yeah I'm sorry, what the **** am I talking about. You never take jabs at Liverpool!
Nice try.
Btw you want to check how many times Rodgers was booed at Liverpool this season?
Way to prove me wrong, I just got rekt.
Not you wrong, it's wenger wrong.
Arsenal fans are frustrated just like Liverpool fans were frustrated under Rodgers. There is nothing wrong is fans venting their frustration just like Liverpool fans did, not sure why you are so defensive.
It's not defensive to point out how you shift the focus over on Liverpool booing Rodgers, without a single effort to understand the differences behind those two situations. First of all, like I said Rodgers never won the league with Liverpool. In fact he didn't win anything with Liverpool, and he's never won a single title. Secondly, Rodgers hadn't been at Liverpool for two decades, consistently earning CL qualification every single season. Thirdly, Rodgers admitted the fans were right to boo him due to the poor results.
No, there's nothing wrong in fans venting their frustration, but that doesn't mean that when two sets of fans vent their frustration you can immediately equate the two situations. There are differences and nuances you refuse to acknowledge, because you're so predisposed to poking Liverpool any chance you get instead of reflecting on the matter at hand. I'm merely pointing that out. If you regard that as defensive then fine, but I believe your post history in this thread speaks for itself.
All your points just paint Wenger in very bad way. All the time he had and he has failed to deliver in the last 10-12 years. Rodgers admitted fans were right to boo him whereas Wenger wants Arsenal fans to stick their head in sand and be happy as if there is nothing wrong with the club. Rodgers is coming out as a bigger man. At least he knew there were problems.
No. Liverpool came in to equation because Wenger said about Liverpool. I said pointed out how it was not so different just few months ago when fans lost **** in every game. I didn't do the comparison, Wenger did it and he was wrong.
Oh excuse me for not sticking my head in Klopp's *** or before that in Rodgers' ***.
Back-to-back FA cups is a lot more than Rodgers even accomplished. That's my point here: The situations aren't identical, but your initial comment on it made it seem like it was.
Again, it was different. And Wenger didn't make that comparison, you did. Wenger only compared the fans supporting their teams, he said nothing about Rodgers. You brought Rodgers into it.
