Nice try.

Btw you want to check how many times Rodgers was booed at Liverpool this season?

Not sure what I've missed. Yeah I remember, after the embarrassing 1-1 draw with FC Sion?

Arsenal boo after a 1-1 draw with United.

No, he said be like Liverpool and support the team. And as much as I know you like to grab any chance you get to throw jabs at Liverpool on any level conceivable, Rodgers never won the league for us like Wenger has done for Arsenal. But even that is irrelevant; Rodgers has nothing to do with this.

I think that you misunderstand the point that Sunil was making. Wenger was the one who said that Liverpool fans always support their team whereas Sunil just pointed out that what Wenger said was incorrect as even Rodgers was boo'ed many times

I didn't misunderstand it, there was not much room for misunderstanding. I was merely pointing out that they were completely different situations, while he insisted they were identical.

I never understood the whole ethos of fans being obligated to suppport the team no matter what.

**** like that maybe made sense in the 70s. But nowadays, when clubs treat not you not as a supporter, but as a customer, a source of extracting income? How about that - I paid for the ticket, and once I take my seat I'll do what I ******* want.

Many times? Boy this will be good.

The (darn) rain in Spain ..... But as a mate rightly say's, much quicker and easier to dry yer bare legs than dry yer kecks. Very mixed weather aside, brilliant little trip that. Valencia as boss as ever (Just HOW did you f that up Neville lad? Where better a place would yers want to live like?). And Villarreal was a quaint little place with real friendly locals. ***** away end like the ground. Seemed as many steps as Newcastle to climb to get up there and stuck right up the top with the roof coming down and big frigging perspex glass screens and stanchion's in the way. Disappointed in that as it's always been one I wanted to go but at least it's ticked off the list. So onto the semi .....

Honestly REAL surprised at the reaction to the game. Both in the bars after among friends and on social media the morning after. I thought it was a pretty good game of footie (from what I could tell behind the glass), that was almost the perfect European away performance were it not for Moreno's moment of base stupidity undoing all the earlier hard work. Seen our approach criticised but I'd take the opposite view and say it was a spot-on game plan that ultimately just wasn't quite executed at the end when we for some inexplicable reason went gun-ho to get a winner after an absolutely World class Mingolet save (credit where credit's due. We could well be looking back on that in 5 days as playing a MAJOR part in getting to yet another European final); which just played into the counter-attacking instincts of what Villarreal are all about and ultimately cost us a more than deserved draw. That will come with more experience and better players. The ability to stay disciplined to the last and completely shut the game down and take the draw home. But I love the fact we've now seen another facet of Klopp in Europe and his tactical nounce to change when appropriate to the strengths of the opposition. Fills you with real confidence for future European campaigns which was never there before his arrival. Had we gone out and really attacked, pushing men forward, it would of just played into Villarreal's hands and left us open for what they do best. Hitting quickly on the break. (Thought some of their interplay the back was fantastic BTW when we pressed. And the little number 18 was benefiting from how comfortable all their back 4 are at playing their way out of trouble/ around the press.). So to set up and counter/ nullify that almost worked to perfection until Moreno's costly mistake the death. That was about as easy a European away as you could wish for and we had arguably the better chances to win it. ****, if Allen had buried that early chance the game could of been so different and the tie over already. Another example of why I'm not big at all at extending him. Yeah, he's been doing real well recently. But when it counts, he just doesn't cut it in terms of production. Gerrard would of buried that for example. Free chance, unmarked, in the box. You HAVE to score.

Where I would criticise Klopp was in his changes. Benteke should of been on half-time for Phil. Clyne had acre's of space down the right all night but no presence in the middle. Ibe was just rank bad when he came on. No problem in not seeing Sturridge at all. He'd just had to play the full 90 against Newcastle and we know we're still having to manage him back to full health to be ready for the pre-season. Wouldn't play him at all tomorrow and have him raring to go and chomping at the bit for next Thursday.

Really not worried about next Thursday at all. (To the tune I bit the bullet Friday and booked both flights the final for £ 97 combined. And from up North too. RESULT! :P. Yup, VERY confident of being in Basle in three weeks or so. (H).). Don't get me wrong, I can see it being harder than Dortmund in so much as these are a far more defensive side and real good on the counter attack. But the fourth best in Spain is a good ways short of what the fourth best side in England would be under normal circumstances and I didn't see much to fear from them at all. Either on the night or the game against Sociedad I watched last weekend. Rocking Anfield. Under the lights. In Europe. You know the script ..... Nothings changed. Even at 0-0 we'd still have to go out and win so the objective is the same.

Disappointing to get beat but not despondent by any means as regards the tie and it didn't put too much of a damper on a boss little trip. (The weather took care of that haha.). It's Spain. Great food and rioja. Great people who love their footie. What more could you want from a few days away from reality?

Roll on next Thursday and the next step to that record equalling 4th UEFA Cup.

It's just a horrible spin on the fact that Sturridge said he wants to play every minute of every match. Like all players really. And he also said that he couldn't say "Liverpool till I die" because it'd be a lie. Just Sturridge being honest, doesn't mean he's upset with Klopp or wants to leave in the summer.

Awesomely brilliant from our friends across the park today.

Above and beyond that is REAL appreciated. Solidarity. Another thing that set's our City apart.

Thank you blues. Classy.

And the same to every other club and support who paid tribute today. Thank you. Means a lot.

First official tickets available around the weekend for the Super Cup final at Lerkendal, at €490-690. That's just not gonna happen, thanks for nothing UEFA.

Wait. WHAT?!!!!! They have to be serious high level comps. surely?

If I can (and chances are things should be floating around. Although EVERY Norwegian red will be there so there is that lol), I'll sort you one if we're there mate. Don't panic.

Already booked a few refundable rooms in Trondheim like. (Always thinking ahead haha.). Looks a boss little place and much easier to get to via Oslo than I thought.

Never during games. And anyone that did (mainly day trippers) where quickly put in their place. Just something we've never done. It's like an unwritten rule with us. However bad it's gotten under Suness/ Hodgson/ Rodgers et all, you don't let feelings be known during the game. During the game, you're they're to support. AFTER the game, I have zero problem with letting your feelings be known if they deserve it. (Never really liked feelings bubbling over under Rodgers to half-time boos at the very back end but I'm old school there that the 90 minutes is not the time.), Big distinction to what was talked about Rodgers on line/ among L'pool fans wherever and the conduct, for want of a better word, at games.

That's the key differential and point Wenger (and mersk) where trying to make as far as I just read that. Arsenal fans are going about it all the wrong way.

Yeah those are VIP tickets, full package with food and drinks included. Normal tickets will be in sale early June, no idea what kind of price range they'll be in yet. The capacity will be reduced from the maximum of 21,600 to 19,000. The spokesman of Kjernen ("The Core", Rosenborgs supporter union) hasn't shied away from slanting UEFA, saying they despise both UEFA and FIFA and that they represent a culture that doesn't serve football.

There'll be 8000 tickets available for open sale starting June, with 2,500 tickets to each of the teams. That's 13,000 tickets to fans from a maximum capacity of 21,600. At least some of those tickets will hopefully be at an affordable price.

And yeah you can get here via Oslo easily by plane or even train, but the train ride's like 7hrs.

If we do win EL, do you plan on going alone or with a group?

I can guarantee at least 6 of us. And a WHOLE bunch of our Norwegian friends haha.

A very good friend has THIRTY EIGHT of them to sort out for Watford next weekend. They're over making the most of the last weekend game of the year. Don't ask haha but we're not short of Norwegian options.

The support from up there never fails to blow me away.

Holy **** that's amazing! Hope it all works out, would love to meet up and grab some beers before and after the game.

Completely with mersk here. Completely taken out of context.

It's like when they tried to make a non-story out of him supposedly hating Origi for taking his starting place and not being happy. Then low and behold Daniel went out of his way the Derby to run 15 yards down the touchline before he came on to check on Origi being carried off. As any teammate who hated another would naturally do .....

Don't see a problem with Sturridge at all.

Count on it mate. Yeah, amazing isn't the word. For such a 'thrilling' game as Watford too. I don't know how anyone (and a lot of our lot have a stupid thing about Norwegian wools taking too many tickets out of Scousers hands. Don't get me started on THAT .....) can criticise when someone takes that time and spends that amount of money to travel overseas to support your team. But then the UK is SO much cheaper than Norway a lot just come over for a few days and kick back and get hammered a **** of a lot cheaper than a day the ale back home would cost them haha.

To do that multiple times every year just blows me away.

True, you'd be lucky to find a beer (0,5l) here at less than £7. Personally I'm just a broke-*** student though, so I haven't been been able to afford travelling abroad since 2011. But once I'm done with it and get a decent job it's definitely one of those things I wanna spend money on.

I recently read a great article (you probably won't understand a word though haha) on a Norwegian guy who moved to Liverpool and is helping out other Norwegians with tickets and such, is about to start a hotel, and has been at basically every last 650 matches. That's just insane.
