The thing about Stambul that I remember the most, other than actual match, is Carragher screaming at Dudek right before the pens, for what seemed like 5 minutes. Carragher looked like mass murderer, all red on his face and obviously furious. I still wonder what that was about.

It was Carra that told him to do the Brucie Grobbelaar wobbly legs the shoot-out apparently that Jerzy didn't even know about. Lol.

Madder still, that was Alonso's first ever professional penalty the match. Gerrard had missed one the last league game, so Rafa announced before the game, which is even madder, Kewell and then Alonso would take one of we got one. And that lazy sack of _____ Kewell was off the pitch injured. Allegedly. As he sure as **** sprinted back on the celebrations like a mad man! He actual got booed off when he off. Forgot that. Which tells you how bad he was and how he was viewed at the time as we never do that to ANYONE during a match. No matter how bad it gets.

Some bollocks from Alonso to take his first ever penalty in the European Cup Final. And then frigging Baros nearly decapitated him after he'd levelled from the rebound lol.

Another image that's always in my head is Paolo celebrating. The man probably played more finals than anybody but you could see him celebrating like a youngster. I still can't get over the fact that we lost a game where we were leading 3-0 and completely dominated for 114 out of 120 minutes. Absolute madness.

Great stuff. Made up it was so fun for you guys and the Reds treated it respectfully and gave you a game. The support out there is ridiculous with another 73K tipping up. Only seen the highlights as I was working the game (darn time difference), but it looked a fun evening. Particularly first half. Sorry the defo penalty on Stevie wasn't given. Him scoring in front of you would of just rounded iff a perfect night I would imagine. And when Sturridge plays like that, like he has the last two games the league season ..... Man alive if his body wasn't made of biscuits. Sighs.

Yeah a Gerrard penalty would have been the icing on the cake! Personally still hope Sturridge stays, he's a classy player and person and deserves more

Madness isn't the word. They'll never be another day like May 25, 2005. You couldn't have written it any more dramatic. I still can't explain that and the absolute roller coaster of emotions ..... You don't come back from 3 down against one of the best defences ever assembled. All that ridiculous experience right through the Milan side. You just don't. But L'pool did. What mad that even madder, is Rafa's sides aren't built for chasing games. He's exactly like Mourinho. If you need a man to set a side up and get a result, he's your guy. It won't be pretty, but he'll get it 9 times out of 10. You used to go 1 up, and you knew that was as good as game over. But if they need a different option when you go behind, you invariably have problems as they've conditioned and drilled their guys one way. Go 2 or 3 down? Forget it. Then you look at that Shevchenko miss. (Miss being the word. Dudek knew F all about it however cool he tried to be lol.). The best striker in the World at that time. You look back at that and you think fate had decreed Liverpool's name was just on the trophy that year.

It was mad and emotionally draining enough being on the winning side. I couldn't imagine what it must have been like to see it snatched away from you on the other side. Devoed wouldn't have been the word.

I mean Athens 2 years later was a role reversal where L'pool deserved the win but Inzaghi done what Inzaghi did best and Milan nicked it. But the way they both played out, I wouldn't swap Istanbul for the World.

Memories like that money just can't buy.

LOL. Brilliant ta. Fella's boss. He must be a riot to play for. Wouldn't swap him for any other Manager the World.

All that said, he SERIOUSLY needs to sort his trabs out.

I can let the non-Adidas/ NB **** slide all things considered, but white wheels and blue jeans Jürgy lad? Yers look like a Cockney on a smart day out! Have a word with yerself! Haha.

If anyone has a free morning and is interested, England U-20's final group game against the hosts South Korea in the U-20 World Cup is in half an hour: xft-england-u20-vs-korea-republic-u20-fyz380693

After both came on as subs the first game, and Ojo got 60 odd minutes the second, Ejaria pulls the start today. So if anyone happens to watch, let us know how he plays will yer please. Ta.

Lads, lads, lads. The **** is this oO)

A top class Brazilian dressed up like a whopper?

Not sure when the official release date is but that shirt's been circulating a good whiles.

Hopefully, it's WELL off the mark.

Brendan Rodgers and your players take a frigging bow.

Unbeaten domestically in all three competitions.

Absolutely ridiculous. Even as a staunch Rangers man with little love for Rodgers, that is an absolutely superb achievement. Brilliant.

Kolo Touré. A DOUBLE 'Invincible' in two different Counties. Couldn't be happier for them both.

Huh? Tuchel has officially left BVB. There were rumours like but that has surprised me.

Go test them again Pulisic please L'pool.
