I know about home advantages etc, but saw some pics and videos about yesterdays game and got me thinking about it. Firstly is this not hugely disrespecting your opponents and secondly dangerous for players.?

Basically there where pictures and videos of halftime how only the side where Liverpool is attacking was cleaned from snow.... Is this not against some rules or usual stuff at every pitch? I understand watering or some small things, but
thick snow and ice is huge disadvantage for opponent attacking capabilities.

Not sure what was going on there.

If the idea was to give our attacking a boost second half and limit theirs, it had the complete converse effect and was
totally detrimental to our game as we couldn’t start quick from the back which effects the whole tempo and rhythm of our play.

Real mad one that. Nottin wrong with it but I didn’t like it.

Liverpool may have to get use to having pens waved away until the end of the season, at least when Salah's involved. I remember that happened with us a decade ago; Ronaldo's diving being publicized in the media and the refs giving the defenders the benefit of the doubt in most situations as a result.

Maybe as this ridiculous narative is being pushed but we’re not losing out if they do. We went 16 months without a penalty at Anfield, with some blatent ones ignored. For one of the most attacking sides in Europe that says it all.

Atkinson was rank bad last night mate. The usual career Atkinson display. He’s never been able to make any game changing decision to save his life.

Two stonewall penaltys turmed down. Maguire should never have been on the park to equalise. He contrives to call Mane offside from behind the play when through when the lino in line didn’t flag.

Sooner he retires the better.

But hey, we overcame that, didn’t get beat and gained a point in City we never expected going into this round of games. With another game gone. Satisifactory nights work all told.

Just seen a close up of Keita's face, a very mature looking 23... lol.

Great news.

Shame to lose his experience from the 23s but absolutely made up for Matty. Seems a real nice guy and he’s been a super professional. It was never going to be here but another plus point for the Academy that another young man has been brought up well to have eveey chance to succeed in having a career at this game.

Buzzing for him that he can now fully start his professional career at one club finally.

All the best mate. Hope its a long one.

If we have to rely on competent referees to win the league were gonna be waiting a long time.

Always like Pogba yanno. ;)

*cringe* Gone are the days of proper rivalry! Back in the day you'd never have any of the nonsense these ponies do now (that goes for all clubs). To be honest the thing that bugs me the most and this is just general when you see players ****** talking like it's a walk about in the park at half-time. It doesn't happen often but when it doe it's like... jeez... you know this is meant to be professional football not a cheeky date to Nando's.

‘Back in the day’ L’pool and Utd players used to regularly go out drinking together and were all good mates.

Just there wasn’t social media ‘back in the day’ to publicise it.

The conman played him out of position but we overpayed for a kid who was still raw and wasn't ready for the premier league yet.

Let’s not forget ‘the conman’ has taken this football club the closest its been in 30 years to a league title.

Just saying.

Nobody to blame for where Markovic currently is bar Markovic himself.

Just watching the Pool game now Allison top gk no doubt but he’s getting caught over playing a few times this season could of cost you twice alone in what I’ve watched so far of this match. Henderson was lucky also coz he defo tripped Maddison! And that was a stone wall on Kieta.

Think Suarez playing out of his skin might have been a certain reason why we got so close. Not saying markovic hasnt got a terrible attitude but he was never ready for the premier league that's all.

Looked like it was the first time Allison had played a game on snow. Hendo had a decent game at fullback dont know why he was getting slated. Only got caught out when he was caught upfield but the midfield should be providing cover in that case anyway.

The good thing now when Alisson does something mad is nobody in the crowd panics. Everyones now used to that being a part of him. Mistakes are going to happen and inevitably cost us at times but you just have to shrug your shoulders and forget about it like the rest of the team as the good FAR outweighs the bad in his game.

He’s given the team a conpletely different dimension with his distribution this season. Setting the tempo quickly pinging it all over getting us going the other way. His ability as a footballer was a big part of why he was our top choice over Oblak. Like Edison at City, he fits how we want to play and keep evolving. And he has that much fairh in his own ability to take lads on with a ball at his feet (which is well founded 9 times out of 10), that trying to change him for the sake of the 1 time he F’s up would be pointless.

Like another mad ******* Brucie Grobbelaar he’s unconventional to the English game. But as he’s WC goalkeeping good like Bruce the payoff is MORE than worth it.

Not unexpected but frustrating start to match-day.

That’s his season then in all likelihood.

Devoed for Joe. Unlucky isn’t the word. Three big injuries during the course of games you just can’t legislate for.

So van Dijk, Lovren, Matip and Fabinho. As gutting as it is to lose JMG, we’ll be sound the run-in. Lest we forget big Virg and Degsy Lovren were as good as anything out there the run to Kiev last season.

Injuries are part and parcel of football. We have the depth and even if that gets eaten into, you find a solution and get on with it. As we have all season.

Next man up!

Utterly devoed for Joe like. Lad has had some terrible luck. But at least his medal is secure if we do win the league.

Rehab well mate and be ready to go pre-season for the league and European Cup defence next year!

Normaly hate missing games but West ‘Am, their absolute ******** fans, and the single worst joke of an (athletics) stadium the entire football league, let alone PL, not so much. Couldn’t pay me enough to go there again.

Great to see Curtis Jones joining Rafa the bench. Pity its in these circumstances. But Lallana be sound. These things are part and parcel of a season for every club. Just ask Tottenham.

Funny side these. Either bang on it giving anyone a game or rank bad stinking the place out.

Into this shower of ***** Redmen! Doesn’t matter how you achieve it at this stage, just WIN! Even more needed with City about to be handed a ‘free’ win Wednesday from the Ev which no bitter I know wants ANYTHING out of!

Up the 5 clear Reds!
