What's your opinion on Kabak now Scouse? Done enough for the 20mill outlay or still some way to go? Personally for me if we are going after Konate it would not make sense to spend 20mill on Kabak for fourth choice. I love Phillips but I'd assume he would want to be first choice elsewhere as he has proven himself a good PL level CB. We have homegrown player quota issues and Kabak won't count as homegrown so would be an issue. If it was up to me I would keep Phillips as fourth choice and bring in Konate and have VVD + Gomez/Konate as the CB options. Matip doesn't exist for obvious reasons lol.

He's already done for less than the £18 million loan agreement is what's bouncing around along with Konate all but tied up.

I think he's done great all things considered and has earned his dream move. I think there's a lot of potential to mould there with the added bonus that he's actually F available every week! A CH group of big Virg, JMG (presuming both come back sound and good as new), Konate and Kabak, allowing the kids to continue developing at their own pace behind, is as strong as anyone has.

I personally have a sneaking suspicion Davies will be going nowhere and be a part of the deep mix. Just the way Klopp gushes about him whenever he's asked. He's been brilliant on the ball by all accounts behind closed doors. Lest we forget it's a massive step up from Preston and it all has a patient, AndyRobbo-esq feel to me in terms of a big adjustment period.

F knows where that all leaves biscuits but I seriously doubt he'll stay as 4th/5th choice given he is genuine World Class quality when he does play. Maybe a return home to Germany?

They've apparently had interest at £15 million-plus already for Phillips. Absolutely made up for him that he's grasped this unexpected chance with both hands and proper earned himself a PL career and setting himself and his family up financially as you said. When you think he'd have been at Swansea last summer if they hadn't got arsey over the fee.

Still haven't ruled out Nat's fairytale ending in Istanbul at the end of May either .....

Couldn't agree more but the only thing stopping Kabak being signed imo is homegrown issues and the money being used elsewhere. 20 mill for Kabak if he can continue to grow is excellent deal but you cant pass up a chance on Konate level CB who is playing at a much higher level and is young himself. Matip will be here to stay as no one would buy him with his wages and unavailability. Club might be pragmatic and decide to save the dosh and keep Phillips as he is free and homegrown and use the money on Kabak fee on Konate instead perhaps?

Pretty confident they’re gonna’ go on a spending spree this summer mate.

Not so much quantity. More so top bracket quality.

Using the Liverpool angle to post the best interviewer on world TV.
The Tommy Tiernan show is unscripted.

I am a big fan of John Bishop.

You love to read it.

The football club has NEVER been as healthy. On and off the pitch. 🎊🎉

And they are positioning themselves, piece-by-piece, to be at the forefront of the next financial evolution in football to be able to compete, as much as you can, on somewhat of a level playing field against the State/ Oligarch backed clubs going forward.

I have been perfectly relaxed on this Madrid since last week's utter shitshow but the closer it gets the more buzzing I’m getting.

..... No wild Anfield crowd to scare the living P out of Madrid and inspire r lads to play well above themselves?

..... Only twice in twelve attempts have we overturned a 2 goal, first-leg deficit in Europe in our illustrious history?

You could go on and on .....

But then I’m reminded of just WHO we are. And just WHO is our manager.

We F specialise in creating history and magical memories like most nobody else. And we aren’t done in this tie yet!

All the best Real. If you’re going through, you’re gonna’ have to proper EARN the right.

We don’t do conventional. We do it our way!

Keep telling us we can’t. We’ll keep making yers look like fools!

So Chelsea and that humongous fraud Tuchel it is the semi then.

If any more incentive was needed .....

Mohamed Salah isn’t desperate to leave Liverpool but he is concerned the club might not see the future in the same way. Ramy Abbas will be at the centre of what happens next, the lawyer acting according to his client’s wishes. Just don’t call him an agent.

Mo Salah "took control of his own destiny" by swapping a global agency for a Leicester-educated lawyer. Ramy Abbas Issa appears to be orchestrating Salah's strategy of flirting with Spain's leading clubs while pushing for a new #LFC contract...

Very disappointed in Si there.

Had a drink with him a few times over the years and always thought he was well better than that. Not only a piece based on absolutely nothing more than guess work and pure conjecture. But for it to be released the day of such a big game.

You expect that **** from Marca. Not one of your own.

I don't quite get how Thiago doesn't start but made up to see Milner in there to get right on them and lead everyone else.

Quietly confident of a win at the least tonight. What that will ultimately result in time will tell.

Straight into these Redmen!

Europe. It's what we do!
Not the midfield I would've gone for but hey Klopp deserves the benefit of the doubt. It is what it is.
