Keane, Vermijl, Janko, James are not our first choice defenders. Performance was awful but how many are first choice or even second choice players? We should be beating MK Dons with our second choice team but the team was full of fringe players except De Gea, Evans and Welbeck.
Hard lessons for many of our youngsters, Wilson did well and he is the only player who did well.
4 defensive mistakes losing possession and 4 goals. It's so simple.
Evans was as bad as all of them, yet we're meant to be building the defence round him? Right ok. We need a world-class CB at least before the deadline.

We were never gonna build round Evans could see that from tour. And once we signed Rojo evans place was firmly placed on the bench.

He had the CMs and WBs to play that formation we don't due to injuries and a lack of quality in CM.
No Rojo is a left-sided CB, so he's replacing Blackett. Evans is the one in the middie... god save us.

I'm sorry but that is not needed what so ever. De Gea is a brilliant GK and has been our player of the year two times in a row now. One of the best young GK around. Also his reactions are top notch, Any other GK tonight other than the worlds best and that deflected shot from the touch line would have gone in. He looks poor only becuase of the amount of goals conceded. And that is only because of the static defending from the back three. He caught out of position on the goals because of that. Plus wasting money on a GK would make us more of a laughing stock in regards to transfers and most likely send the message to De Gea "we don't trust you".
