You would think with the attacking intent they both have. Shaw and Rafael would be ideal wing backs. Blind in the half back role to cover...

I can see Bale leaving, but no one wanting to pay the amount he would cost especially how poor he has been this season. Problem with Bale once his pace goes he will be very limited player.

Not much we can do, the moneys there he wants guaranteed CM starts by all accounts, we cant give it, some teams can and are so fair play.

Chump change, new sponsorship deal to be announced for 80mil a year according to reports. :)

I would never pay that for him on this seasons form so far. Hopefully he can turn things around :)

With you on that mate! :) Just look at most German sides and most have top youth coming through.

And then bayern steal them, but the talented youth starts from grassroots which is ***** in britain and english clubs are also ***** at nurturing them and actually presenting them with proper chances at the top level.

Also you see it alot at amateur coaching levels it's just poor.

Yeah theres only a few clubs willing to give youth a chance. There is talent out there needs to be found,nutured and given a chance.
 
I know it's FM but you only have to spend 10 minutes on it to see the huge gap in talent and quantity of talent between the germans and even french and spanish to that of the english from the ages of 16-21.

Even look at us now nearly all our next bunch of talent coming through is forign.

I'm not even sure there is that much and if there is plenty of our so called bright young stars are not even close to that of other nations.

You can take shaw, barkley, wilshere and i'm sure someone like schalke have talents that are far better, not just technically but physically in better shape imo.

Yeah it's not good really, unless they are future world beaters and will make it to the first team but that is always tough to predict. I'd take a top top foreign talent over just an okay brit but how many of these foreign lads are going to beat that good?

I would say atm from what I have watched A.Pereira, J.Pereira, Savic, Mensah, Gomes, Tuanzanbe, Bonnen, and Rashford and possibly Mitchell who are English.
