The Manchester United Thread

This is the type of game where I'd much rather have a Gundogan or Fabregas on the pitch rather than Herrera, much better at creating something on the ball which Herrera is rather lacking in that regard.
Rather them 2 than Fellaini tbh in this game. Herrera not been bad plus he works hard, Fellaini has not.

We've taken off the guy that we've relied on the past few months to help us win games, and replaced him with a goal shy striker. Interesting.

It's taken a while, but we have been found out.

Tony Pulis is somewhere watching carefully.

Someone please teach rooney and falcao how to control a fecking ball, where is messi at?

Really haven't. Anyways would rather go for it Blind and Young off RVP and Di Maria on :)

We clearly have. It's nothing new, but it's obvious what you can do to manage and/or overcome Manchester United. Compact, disciplined defending, combined with flexible attackers and a narrow shape.

This performance validates it. We're stagnant, pedestrian in possession. The movement has only marginally improved in the second half, but not enough to be decisive. We're easily exposed on the counter since we're pushing men forward to grab the equaliser or lead.

If not for the rest of the season, then definitely today.

Ready to call this a "defensive masterclass"? Certainly a counter-attacking masterclass.

This match has been silly. Man Utd defending has been poor. Nothing mater-class about this game.
One team wants to play a game, the other team wants to defend and counter attack. Pretty boring and dumb match.

Sorry lads, just not our day. Just one of those days when nothing goes right. And Falcao needs to **** right off, Wouldn't even cut it for the U21's right now.
