The only good thing about this is that it is showing that we can't rest on our laurels in the summer, the deficiencies in the team/squad need to be addressed - or we won't be challenging anything major trophy next season.

CM who offers more on the ball badly - I don't know what Blind offers in midfield apart from good positional sense, good cover player to have but not much more.

ST other than Falcao badly - wouldn't even want him at a discounted price.

Yes we've been a goal down but it's been a recurring team this season whenever he plays there. Carrick is less aggressive in closing down that in turn reassures the defence that they have someone covering them. Blind needs to learn to show more restraint.

Perhaps. Left-back is fine, but central midfield would only recur similar issues to this. Not with how effective Herrera can be going forward, or nearly as threatening as Fellaini aerially.
