Sanchez was just rubbish tho.

Can only judge over the opponent he plays against and last two games he has been really good. Plus it's part of the defenders job to make an attacker look ****, if he has he has done his job. ^.^

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Arsenal were just plain awful. The backline of Valera-Carrick-Blind and barely fit Rojo has no right to hold up against the likes of Ozil and Sanchez.

Most of the credit goes to Herrera and Schneiderlin, they were excellent and cut the supply to forwards to absolute minimum. The only time I noticed Walcott during that game was when he was walking of the pitch. Herrera has been fantastic last couple of games, meaning he's going to get injured within a week or two. :P

What was Aaron Ramsey like in that game though?!? Why does he get in such a huff every time anyone tackles him, its like we know you broke your leg years ago but people are allowed to tackle you now!

He's average...never convinced me even when he had that green patch in 2013.

It's not that tho. Yes he deserves some praise but I fee we praise him too much

You act like he benches every single first team player for youth when what prompted it was injuries.

Before this season started, he said he wanted 2 players per position Right? His intention was obviously this, "if the first choice gets injured, the backup shall take over" but unfortunately, the 2nd choices have gotten injured themselves so it leaves him not choice but to dig deep into the academy.

Read his quotes once again without cutting out youth players part.

To be honest I think we rely too much on names on 'paper' these days, no one gave any of our players today a chance or hope. But all of them put in a team performance that will get any fan excited. **** just look at this season, lesser teams beating bigger teams all over

I'm not saying they are all going to become world-beaters by any means, but in a season like this seeing a few promising players coming to the fore and carrying us is really satisfying.

Personally from what I've seen I think the players who could very well go on to become top players are CBJ, Rashford and Fosu-Mensah. Joe Riley was good but I want to see another game of him before judging if he could be the real deal. I'd say Pereira as well but I never ****** see him play these days.

Varela is like 24 so not really a youngster but I like what he brings to the side.

Talking of names/ bigger names, and a recent debate in here on possible future managers .....

I found it interesting yesterday overhearing a very heated couple of discussions between quite a few City fans who although naturally happy with Pep's impending arrival, aren't happy to be losing Pellegrini and weren't impressed by the way City have gone around this.

Where you'd of thought they'd be bouncing about Guardiola, there's a massive amount of love and respect for the job Pellegrini's done and the man that he is.

Pellegrini is a gentleman to the point that he's respected by plenty of United fans, perhaps more so than when Sparky was at City. No surprise he is well loved. Pep would do well to praise his work when he arrives.

he's brought them lots of success, more than dreamt of. If by some chance he wins the CL, pep will have a hard task on his hands.

Next season I really want to see Gribbin with the first team. That kid is a gem.

Yup he is - was actually wondering why he's not featuring with the other youngsters (is he out on loan)?

Btw Ive just been to the **** thread and theres been nobody there for ages (ok since their Barcelona match).

Gunners fans not so active anymore at all, we have lost the best one in Damola ;) but yeah the few regulars aren't as active no more, bit **** really.

Yeh possibly, I mean he's only like 16/17 so maybe a tad early to throw him into the fore, but going off the youngsters who are shining why not? Age hardly seems to matter I guess.

Gribbin is a fantastic talent, but we have Pereira sat on the bench every game & rarely getting off it, so it would be incredibly harsh if his place in the pecking order is overtaken by a 17 year old.

Imagine going to school after scoring twice vs Arsenal that is a massive comedown surely

More like a massive cumdown, since he probably gets a ******* from different lass on every break, now that it turns out he's likely to be a future milionaire.
